Hi Rainbow, Do you have any more info on your medical issue yet?

I used to abuse cough syrup when I was a teenager and it definitely increased my bipolar symptoms like talking a lot more, not sleeping, very restless, coming up with all kinds of ideas and projects, euphoria, overly inflated self esteem, recklessness etc

No, I haven't heard from the breast surgeon's office yet. If they don't call today I'm supposed to call my family dr. I'm really hoping they call but with it being a 4 day weekend I'm not expecting it. I'm sure they are short-staffed today.

Thanks for asking

This sounds exactly like what I am going through right now. I am not sleeping much on the nights I take it, I cannot sit still. I get bursts of euphoria. And yeah the projects and ideas. I asked my mom to get me a skateboard for Christmas because I want to start skateboarding. I mean to be honest I have been thinking about it for awhile. Also I randomly wanted to start playing the guitar yesterday.

Luckily I finished the bottle last night and I won’t be getting anymore.

I also do think I am legitimately happier now then I was a couple weeks ago.

Today is going good. I got a giant box in the house without anyone really noticing. I just looked at my phone and saw it was delivered and I said “oh my package is here.” No one said anything. But the box was huge but my closet floor is empty so I was able to stick it in there. Then I came downstairs and still no one said anything. I’m not sure if they could see me carrying the box upstairs. Then my mom went out for a bit so I was able to open it and put it away. I got rid of the box, had to cut it in pieces, and got it put in the recycling. It’s always stressful getting stuff like that into the house but no one has said anything. My mom asked one time and I just said I needed some personal things and I was talking to my therapist about it and I asked my mom if she could respect my privacy I’d appreciate it. And she’s been cool with it. But the boxes are still stressful getting in.

But today I feel pretty good. I’m restless but my moods are stable.

Decided to post a photo of myself just for today on my profile. Quarantine hair and all. It's authentically and unapologetically me. At least for today, I'll keep it to remind myself it's OK to be me.

How fun! You look nice and you look like I pictured you would.

I decided to put my pic up, too. I don't know why they stretch sideways, though.

Loving the hair, MarcusAurelius and BethRags! Wild and expressive is good, but really both of yours seem quite stylish, to me. Since we're sharing special hair photos, here's mine (a couple years ago). I call it the Frizzy Wavy Crazy Lady photo. It was actually not that bad of a hair day, for me. Today my hair is longer, so even wilder. I confess that I haven't properly washed (or even combed) it for a while.

You look just like I pictured you, too! Even your beautiful blue eyes. I have hair like yours. A co-worker of mine used to call it "pillow hair". It's nice, though. Fun to play with.

The pic of me is 5 years old. I don't have any more recent. I finally stopped coloring it (even though I liked the red tones). It was prematurely grey/white, so now it's just streaked with blonde.

(((BIG hug)))

Why not go IP? I know it's no thrill, but at least it's a rest of sorts. A bit of a break from worldly demands.

I am hesitant to post a picture of myself but if you google the designer Christian Sirano that’s who I look like. The way he currently looks.

My dumb thoughts came back tonight but since all the sleep meds are gone I don’t have anything to take. So just trying to work through things. I am nervous about meeting my therapist on Tuesday. I am worried she’s going to fire me and I was thinking of sending a quick email before the session saying I’m ok I just needed a break. But I don’t have her email anymore.

This is the second night in a row where my sleep is real bad. Last night I didn’t even sleep much and tonight I don’t know if I’ll be able to fall asleep at my regular time. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong.

Everybody’s pics look great!

I told myself I would totally relax Friday-Sunday and everything is quiet on the home front. I have hypergraphia and I even put the steno pad away. I’m having a tough time relaxing! It’s not natural to me and I find myself bored and restless. I think I’ll get back to work tomorrow. I had a great day today with my daughter and got the best night’s sleep last night so I’m feeling back on my feet.
Hallelujah!

Hugs to all.

That's great that its respectful. Yeah I'm the youngest of 8. My 2 sisters that are right wing, we just don't talk politics around them. They are good people. We just don't agree.

Heya, BPC, what if you distracted yourself here with us? For instance, could you tell us about your favourite ride?

As to hair pics, well ...

In truth, I do have a photo of myself in my photos. It's sideways though for some reason.

Why not? Can you contact your pdoc who prescribed them or is that who isn't prescribing them now?
