Romantic Literature

Do you have someone in your life that you do a lot for, but they take you for granted?

It varied. In maybe 1st and 2nd grade I brought a lunch that my mother prepared. After that, my mother started to work and started to give me money for lunch, but then started to forget all of the time. I'd go to school without lunch or money, so the school just gave me lunch for free. They contacted my parents to see if I might qualify for the free lunch program, but my parents didn't qualify. They had enough money. They were just a bit delinquent. I didn'.t hold it against them, but had some satisfaction in them feeling guilty. Later in public school I guess I had money. I don't remember, but I did eat. Then when I transferred to a private school, meals were included in the tuition. The food was best there. Yummier and more healthful. I had meal plans at university. I selected the 12 meals per week plan and would either order in/eat out or go to the student center for eggs and toast (less than $2) for the meals not covered. Or, didn't eat more than two meals per day. The 19 meals per week plan was too much for me. I ate very little in my senior college year, becoming underweight. Not any eating disorder. Just stomach/digestive issues and mood elevation, which I had off and on in my youth.

What did you usually eat when in elementary school? Or what was your favorite packed or cafeteria meal?

I liked tomato and cheese sandwiches as packed lunch. I didn't like any of the school meals (not even the chocolate pudding with white sauce which nearly everyone else liked)

Name one of your best qualities, and one of the traits you'd like to change (if there are any)

Alternative question. Name your favourite artist and/or musician (or more than one)

michael jackson, and it always will be

when he died, it took me an entire year to get over his death and I wouldn't let myself play his music

question: is their an artist or a group that you refuse to listen to/ extremely dislike. why

but I'm fine now and listen to it again
Thanks for this!

It depends on how you define move. If you mean different places where I would more formally have residence (where mail service would be established), I guess 10 times. That only includes moving to and from university dorms once, even though I stayed at four different places there (a different dorm each year). I did include a few returns to my parent's house, but not the ones during summer vacations between university years. I did not include my move to a shared house in my university town or two month stay in Poland, one particular summer. If I did, the number would be 12.

Where was/is your favorite place to live?

Nope, haven’t watched the Olympic s since the 70’s. Can’t stand the droning voices. If they’d just shut up and play music and let you watch and appreciate the athleticism then I’d watch. But they gotta drone on and on then pick everything apart while the judges score then they go on about the judges. Geez just enjoy it.

Like, dislike , love, hate humidity?

Hate humidity

Do you mind making phone calls (the ones with calling companies and doing business stuff like bills, ordering meds, etc)?

it has to be done after all, I guess

me personally: I prefer talking to automated hotlines (press 1 for this, 2 for that etc etc)

but suppose it's a part of life. I don't really enjoy it, but what can you do.

question: have you ever won any type of compitition or contest?.

If you count rankings as competitions, I was first in my small graduating high school class. A more casual contest was strongest leg muscles/hamstrings in my class. Once in gym, all students (including boys) had to be in sitting position up against the wall as long as possible (no chairs). Over time, all other students fell in pain, while I had no problem. Intensive ballet training was to thank. I was also a frequent winner in badminton, trivia games, and a particular video game.

What game, subject, or sport were you bad at?

I loved school. I paid attention, I had to, because I read lips. I was so-so on homework though. My parents didn’t hover or insist that any of us kids do our homework. As long as our grades were good they let us self monitor. I tested very well and got good grades without trying so imagine what I could have learned if I had tried.

What was your favorite age growing up? Why?

anything before the age of 9 was fair game, and I think the younger the better (I just really liked my baby stuff, my bottle, my passifier and stuff) I didn't give up on the passifier until the age of 7 (true fact!)

but things started on a downward slope for me at 9

Possible trigger:

and that set the wheels in motion really. things just got worse from that point and I feel my childhood was robbed from me quite early (and I wish I still had a passifier!)
when you were a child, did you have a favorite comfort item/ items?. what were they

Not in the traditional sense. I was a very tough kid, though that's not to say I wasn't hurt, over time. If I must choose, I'd say my bicycle was like a comfort item. When I needed to escape, I just got on my bike and rode around. It made me feel freed and more at one with the world. Or my ideal world. Dancing was also a means of escape.

What is your favorite way of expressing yourself?

I would say words and the way I present them (if I say them calmly, shout them, swear, what ever)

also body motions. if I'm impatient for example, I'll show it (andn ot just a bit either). a lot. same goes for any emotion. I was never good at hiding how I felt, or if you like, putting on a mask. I show raw emotion.

do you like swimming?
