Yes but it's not that helpful for me. I hate and am not good at quantifying how I feel. I'm much better at description. When I first started with this therapist we used playdoh to show moods instead of a 1-10 rating scale because I hate that so much. Apparently he's never had another patient use playdoh before. He'll never forget me

I'm not a huge soda fan. Perhaps I have one or two once per month, or so. When I do, it's usually Coke Zero. I drank diet root or birch beer and ginger ale occasionally, too, but more when I still lived in the US. Another fizzy beverage I enjoy is cranberry juice in seltzer water.

What is something you used to like and do/have a lot that you rarely do or have, nowadays?

Yes I donate every year to the UK charities Comic Relief/Sports Aid and Children In Need. I give to people's fundraising efforts on Facebook. I also give money to mental health charities. Plus I have worked for 3 charity organisations. Plus I did a New Year Dook in Aid of charity 6 years in a row prior to covid. I jumped in the freezing local river on New Year's Day.

I give what I can nothing major a couple of pounds goes a long way

Question: When talking to mental health professionals do you find it easy to open up? To talk freely about your life and mental health state?

For the most part, yes, but it can depend on the individual doctor or therapist. If they don't make me feel at ease, I can sometimes put up what I call a "glass wall", to a degree. Or even with them I might yap a lot, but more out of anxiety.

What is something you used to like and do/have a lot that you rarely do or have, nowadays?

Running and hiking. I used to be hardcore into both, now my "hikes" are small local hills and I haven't even gone on a real run in months because of my foot/spine/nerve issue.

Are you more shy or outgoing at euthymia/baseline?

I might consider the Ferris wheel or the merry-go-round. My neck and spine can not handle anything more thrilling than that. I’d love to go back on the zipper or a roller coaster but my spine will not let me.

Do you want to be famous on Facebook?

A: I get depressed when everything is cold and dead, so winter. The color changes and and falling leaves are quite beautiful.

Q: Do you have any siblings and do you get along with any in particular very well? Very poorly?

I have two, both older. I grew closer to them as an adult, partly because the age differences became less an issue. I came along almost 6 and 7 years later than them. Nowadays I've grown closest to my sister. She really is a sweet and caring woman. Of course I love my brother, too, but he's got some issues that make being close hard. Politics is part of it. I'm on the other end of the political spectrum from him. I suppose his fervor could be worse, though. He fortunately has some sense that others in his political party don't. For example, he's sensible enough to get vaccinated and likely wouldn't wage war on the American government, toting a gun in a shaman outfit.

See Miss Laura's question above. We posted simultaneously.

I look forward the Call the Midwife. It just started the 10th season last night. I always look forward to PBS new shows on Masterpiece and masterpiece mystery. Right now the only American show I’m looking forward to is Young Sheldon. I really miss Big Bang.

What makes you lose track of time?

Reading or watching something that really gets my interest.

What kind of mattress do you have? (memory foam, standard spring, sleep number, that purple thing, etc)

I suppose homemade Christmas cookies, but I will likely not make many this year. Perhaps only a Christmas bread. The year before last I made 11 to 12 total batches of about 8 different cookie varieties. I'm not even sure we will get a tree. There's no good place for one in our house. Czech Christmas trees look more like Charlie Brown trees compared to American ones. I will likely decorate with other stuff, but far less than usual. I hope we keep the gift expenses waaaaaaay down. My husband goes far more overboard than I do. I'm a comparative scrooge and hate the excess commercialism of it all. Attached is a photo of my past cookies and Christmas tree.

Who were the oldest relatives of yours that you remember?

I can't remember a serious one, I try to be pretty honest with people, but when we were little I convinced my little sister that everyone but her had a marble permanently in their mouth and that there was something wrong with her since she didn't have one.

Did you pick on your siblings?
