My case manager asked me if I wanted to continue treatment with the facility I'm currently at with her and my pdoc. I told her yes. She seemed to act like I've been stable for so long that what- I could just ride off into the sunset and ladeeda? I mean just because my meds are working at the moment doesn't mean that this will go on indefinitely.
Possible trigger:

How often do you see them? My T says paranoia is something to protect me because it comes often when I am stressed. maybe that's what's going on? Or was this happening before? Can you fall asleep or do something calm until sleep comes?

I could read but I know I wouldn't understand any of it. I think pdoc's call triggered me. I'm trying to sleep but can't. Good think I don't have to be up in 2 hours like I do on the weekends.

I completely understand where you're coming from. IMHO one of the most important parts of bipolar treatment is PREVENTING episodes, which means continuing treatment even if things seem to be going well, so that symptoms can be caught early. It might make sense to scale down the frequency of appointments, but not to drop a patient completely. Suppose another episode creeps up, and you have to enter a waiting list for 6 months plus. By then it will be too late. By the time emergency services are necessary, it's too late. I hate when treatment providers are so short sighted and it results in preventable episodes getting completely out of hand. Sorry for the rant but this stuff pisses me off because it happened to me, too. I hope I'm just overreacting and they won't actually do this.

Possible trigger:

Mental health professional confuse me with their "You're stable now, so forget you have a serious disorder and live a normal life." "Stable" doesn't necessarily mean we can suddenly make a bunch of changes in our lives, because that's can be a perfect way to lose stability...

It could also be that you’ve met treatment goals and insurance won’t cover sessions without cause. That’s a big issue in USA

So I'm never allowed to have any psych issues again- never allowed
Possible trigger:
? That's just it? With a chronic disease? Bipolar can't just be "cured" like that.

I agree. Dropping a patient completely is WRONG. It pisses me off too.

They sound insane, sorry to put it that way. I've encountered providers who are that way too. I hope you find some who are more humane and wise,

I updated my thread "Down and Empty". It's a little rambling, but it will feel good to sleep in my own bed again. I got a shower here at home and am feeling good. There was no internet access at the ER or at the hospital.

Yes, I am feeling better now since being out of the hospital. I am looking at the flowers that my friend sent me in the hospital. They are still beautiful. I watered them today. I have a phone appointment with my NP's RN in a few days. I dunno what she's going to say, but we'll see.
