I had an hour to kill during the work day

not long enough to go home then turn

around after 15 minutes so I stayed at

the assisted living place and played solitaire.
Which was fun and passed the time quite nicely.
I am so antsy tonight and hot still get menopausal
hot flashes. I am listening to radio garden and loving it.
Jeff is gone over to a friends house for drinks and to talk shop.
The music is classical from venice Italy.I know that I shared
this with you before.I can listen to it as loudly as I

want to because I am alone in the house.
hubby finally used carpet cleaner in the car.
He did the floor mats and the carpet in the car.
he could not smell any of the bad odors that I was smelling.
He doesn't have a nose for things as I do.
now it smells nice. He will call and make an
appointment to have the air bags check as the

warning light is on and it is a hazard. He just needs
to take it in and be looked at maybe it is something
easy to fix. I am afraid they will have to pull out the
carpet to get to the sensors. This is from when he
got 4 inches of rain in his car when he drove thru

the flooding waters to get home.
If it is significant $ then we will file a claim on our car insurance.

I have written a ton. Thank you for allowing me the indulgence.

We had Water under neath the cat liner and there was pee
from one of the cats. I asked hubby it he could clean it up.
Then he said he thought our out going hose from the

washer was backing up. no not that.... it was the hot
water heater!!!! yikes we tried finding the main valve
that turns off the water to the house. You need a
special tool to shut it off.
WE were clueless about what we were doing.
after hours of sopping up water and wringing out the
towels then using them to deal with the water. at 11pm
we called a plumber and he had the right tool to shut
off the water. He lived an hour away.Total for new hot
water tank installed and old one taken away.

totaled $2100. That old heater was 30 years old. we

got to bed around 1;30am. boy was I tired this morning.
I am an old fart and don't stay up that late and
then wait for my meds to kick in.
Roger came back with a new water heater Jeff had
moved both the washer and dryer out of the way.
I had to go to work so I left around 10 to get to
my first clients home on time.
We are going to pensicola florida for a long weekend.

It is the last hurray before the university starts

back up again. it is our 25th wedding anniversary

in a couple of weeks 8-24-1996. We were not able
to go last year due to covid. So hopping we don't
run into any troubles along the way. We will probably
leave in the morning around 10am.
I am already packed. And am going to go to

bed here soon.

thanks beth for reading my thread!
WE had a good time in Pensacola.
Ate a ton of seafood and drank a lot of beer.
I went to see my client this after noon.
I used to care for her mothers feet years ago.
She said I had gained so much weight that
she hardly recognized me. she said it twice.
lovely....
I need to unpack and do laundry tomorrow!
Jeff has a really full week ahead of him with school starting soon.
I am going to bed soon as I am tired.
love

What a terrible thing for her to say.. I would have sat on my hands because I'd want to back hand her.. This is how I feel about weight gain... I know I am over weight ! I hate it. I don't need anyone to point it out.

That really sucks about your hot water heater.. Our died last year and we went with a tankless

Glad you had a nice time in Pensacola

Sounds like something my grandmother would have said when she was in her 90's.

I am cooking a pork roast in the crock pot tomorrow.
Will use cream of mushroom soup and carrots and mushrooms. The roast is preseasoned.

The calling for Doris was this morning at 9-11 before the service. She looked at peace.
I got there around 9;30
I got up at 8am because I had to take a shower.
The funeral home gave me a picture of Doris with her obit inside. It is a lovely picture of her.

my nails are getting so long that i type with them and have to correct a lot of things
as I go along. I should trim them back, but they look pretty so I think I will keep them

a bit longer.I need a pedicure, the hallie cat is licking my toes and occasionally tries to
bite my nail, wonder what about my feet she likes????

Well I got tired of looking so stuffed into my scrub tops that I stopped by the uniform shop
and bought 5 extra large tops 3 blue and 2pinkish.speaking of which I need to go put them in the dryer right now.

the house is hot I turn the thermostat up when we are not home for the day then turn

the air back down to cool the house we like to keep it 72 degrees at night and 75 during the day.
with menopausal hot flashes It sucks being hot.tuesady night I finished most of my billing I ran out of stamps.
Have not charted the directive for the foot care nurses just says that I need to

get doctors orders it doesn't say specifically that I need to chart.
I know I am trying to rationalize not charting.

bad me.
I am so glad for spell check!
