I am pissed off that my pdoc hasn't called me back. Of course, what was so important yesterday isn't as important today. Except the issues with my short term memory. That still goes round and round in my brain. As a matter of fact, I'm still having racing thoughts. But I went to the dog park with my friend today and that was nice and relaxing. Brain felt good. So maybe I don't do enough to distract myself? I always have to be doing something. Which I guess is true of everybody? I'm not sure. It's like that recent thread here that talks about the "normies" verses us. How their brains work. Just moment to moment. Of course, my friend was going on to me about what was in her brain, earlier today, and it was kind of all over the place, but she has ADHD so I'm not sure if that's why she's like that. But yeah my pdoc and my case manager aren't taking my calls seriously! I'm not suicidal- at this point- but who knows. I guess when my messages don't say "I'm suicidal" then they don't call back? Is this making sense? I have to be on alert for my phone to ring and keep it near me at all times IN CASE they call me back, but then they don't so i'm on alert for nothing. Am I not WORTHY of a call back? Are they so busy taking care of all their other patients that I get chucked my the wayside?

Moose, I don't have any answers for you but I can understand. I'm waiting for a different specialist to respond to a couple messages and send in a new script for a physical problem. Yesterday she responded but wasn't listening to what I said and when I responded I think she decided not to bother wiht me anymore. Then there was an issue finding a med my insurance covers and that was the end. I'm stuck on a med with horrid side effects and she doesn't care. Not to mention she made up about half the history and physical exam and I'm pretty annoyed about that but don't want to confront her and make her more angry with me.
Since she didn't know the difference between clozapine and clonazepam I'm not sure she's really qualified to handle my case anyway. She's a new grad and I think I'm too complicated. Doctors can be soooooooooo frustrating!

How aggravating, Moose. If there's no response after the first call I'd call again.

My case manager called. She tried to help me with a few things. She just said to use my gps if I'm having trouble with driving directions. And she didn't understand my "feel like I'm running and tripping and the world is going by too fast" analogy. I also felt like my brain wasn't working when people ask me what I'm feeling or thinking over the phone. I get put on the spot and go deer in the headlights! I forgot to tell her that my sleep is disturbed.
