I just ate a pint of rebel ice cream. Bizi's December thread 2021

It has a total of 5 carbs for the pint!
I had triple chocolate. yummy!
what a treat. Bizi's December thread 2021

Can't remember the last time I ate ice cream!
I start back to work tomorrow.
Start at 9am then a 10;30 lunch at sandras,
a 1pm then 2;30 then 4pm.
It will be a busy day!
since I missed almost 2 weeks of work,
I have a lot to make up.
I think everyone who needed an appointment has one.
I am working 6 days a week for all of feb.
I know that is too much but I have a business to run

and will work hard to make sure everyone is seen.
There will be calls from clients that only

call when they need me I am already making
appointments for march.

They won't like that but it is what it is.
I do have some 9am appointments but hate to get up early.
Like tomorrow am getting up at 8 and have half an hour
to get ready for the 9am.
anyway
my posture bra came in and I wore it one day and hated it!
So I threw it away....
have a good week every one.Take care of your self and your families.
Kiss your loved ones for today is a gift.

love, bizi

Thanks beth!
I have been wearing long under ware .
The next 4 nights the temps are going to be in the 30's.
Jeff is still walking every morning, even when it is very cold
out he wears a heavy coat the takes it off when he gets

hot from all of his exercising.

He walks fast and does some jogging as well.
I made a chicken chili that I think came out very good. hubby
did not like the mushrooms in there.I used black beans navy beans

and a pound of presliced mushrooms and a false alarm chili mix.
I did not use all of the chili powder as it is too much.
I made the mistake of using the entire packet and

it was way too much now I add some taste it then

add a bit more until it taste just right.

we use sour cream and jeff uses shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
I had for lunch half of a small container of chicken salad
It did not have a great flavor so I threw out the rest of it.
I am still alcohol free but have been toying with

the idea of drinking again.I just have to remind myself.
how much better it is if I don't drink, less trouble sleeping, no heart burn
able to lose weight.sobriety looks good to me. So I just need to take it
a day at a time. It is good to talk it thru to you guys.
I am addicted to these partake beers which have a very
small amount of alcohol I drink 4-5 a night.

2% so it is not even equal to a whole beer.

some of the beer doesn't have any alcohol or calories,
I don't like it as well as the partake which tastes like a real beer.
Last night we went to the university to listen to a brass band play.
It was a quintet and we were quite impressed.
Nice to be able to listen to live music again.

every one had to wear a mask to enter the school.
I need to do some charting and other stuff for work tomorrow.
good night my friends.

Hey, Bizi. I'm checking in. Wonderful that you're going alcohol free. My bro-in-law is drinking the non-alcoholic beer, and he likes it, too.

I'm glad you're feeling better. Could an allergy be involved?

You have a twin sister? Aren't they great! I have an identical twin sis. We both live in North Carolina but several hours away from each other.

I bet you have all kinds of stories. I am about 900 miles away from my twin her name is gretchen and lives in Indiana. I live in louisiana.
She is in north carolina now helping with child care, the 2 year olds day
care, one of the kids came down with covid. Both of Emmy's parents are deputy sheriff she works days and he works nights.
Gretchen is thrilled to be able to come and help she will be

there a total of 8 days. I know that they appreciate her.
Thank you for reading my threads and keeping up.
nice to see you again!!!!

Do you know about the SI joint?
There is one on each side of your spine.
but it is located where the dimples
are at your lower back/butt.
They can get inflamed or dislodged and

cause havoc in daily living.
I have had a diminished pain in my left

Sacral iliac joint =SI joint.
It can also appear as sciatica. with pains

in the buttocks then down your leg.
My pain is gone at the site so I am happy

about that.
I don't know why it disappeared.
I have chronic lower back pains that I have
had for some time now. I think the chiropractor
helped but one time he hurt my middle back

and it really hurt. so I stopped going.

my middle back gets stressed and aches, it never
did that until he hurt me.

My knees have been giving me fits.
I know it is from over use with my job, I have to get down

on one knee to wash peoples feet.
both thighs closet to my knees were hurting badly.
But they are getting better each day.
my neck hurts off and on. It pops and cracks and

some times it even grinds. These are chronic aches

and pains that I just live with.Enough about that.
having better posture helps when I remember to
sit up straight on my padded stool.
anyway,
Jeff and I were gone from 9;30 am to 7;30 pm when we got home.
I asked a security guard if he could walk me to my car.
and explain how to get to jeff who was wheel chaired,

at the patient pick up area.
Jeff had a longer time coming awake enough able to walk
And used the restroom before he could leave.
So he is home and he had a normal belly button
when he came home. today there is a pouching of
puffyness that is of concern. There may be drainage
at the site that can do that. He said when he read
some sites that he turns to for advice regarding this
procedure It could be normal so he is not freaking out about it.
that was a long day for both of us.
After we got home jeff laid down in bed and
I ate right out of the can cold clam chowder

which was tasty. We have a wind advisory up

to 30 mile an hour winds gust up to 40mph.
and temps are going to drop to the mid 30's. burr!
The wind is howling. and the wind chimes are very active.
Some friends showed up with dinner It was delicious!
She is from hong kong and is an excellent cook.

There was a fish that she cooked whole and bok choy

and pork with ginger. yum
At 6pm jeff took a whole pain pill I suggested to
take a half to see how it effected him no he

wanted to take the whole thing. After dinner

was done He started to feel the effects of the pain pill
And sent him to bed. He did not want to take
anything else. He said his heart rate was low 50's
it dipped down into the 40's at the hospital

recovery room. his alarm keep going off. He would
make him self stay awake. Because every time he
was starting to fall asleep the alarm would go off.
I just checked on him he is dozing off and on. and his

respiration's are shallow and 14 bpm breathes per minute.
I have been drinking partakes non-stop since I got home.
It is good that I am not drinking alcohol.

That would just matters worse.
Thank you for reading this entire post.
Thank you for your support!

Oooh, I'm sorry about the SI pain and hope it stays away.. At one point when I was waitressing I had it - miserable. A muscle relaxant helped. Fortunately, it has never returned.

I have heard of too many people being injured by a chiropracter. I was going to one many years ago and after several sessions he was sexually inappropriate. I was young and shaken up. Today I would have turned the ****er in.

How lousy, though, that you are experiencing so much pain. I was having neck pain for weeks, down into my upper back. I was fed up with it so bought Tiger Balm patches and wow, have those helped!

Every time I read that you are not drinking alcohol I feel so happy!

Big hugs,
Beth

I made it 19 days with out drinking alcohol.
Then today we went to a festival, when I remembered
that sundays don't count for lent. so I drank....had

several shots of free vodka.
my favorite was peach vodka with an orange mixer.
It was very good!
then I switched to beer. now I have had

a couple of gin and tonics since we have been home
from the festival.
It was the perfect day for the festival. great music and weather.
I got a bit of sun.
Jeff had a fall off of a curb of sorts.
he is 10 days post op from his hernia repair.

he hurt his shoulder and knee. he will be sore

in the morning am afraid.
I did 3 loads of laundry tonight after we got home

from the festival. We had chicken patties for dinner
with chopped spinach. It was very good.
I am still doing laundry.
now am done with laundry have folded them and put them away.
It hurts my back kind of leaning over.....I have a very sensitive back.
Thank you for reading my post.

Glad you enjoyed the festival !! Good job on the laundry after you got home! I swear if I go anywhere that requires better clothes than Jammie’s I can’t seem to do anything once I’m home lol

How was Jeff this morning ?

jeff had fallen at the festival sunday. his hip doesn't feel bad like it did yesterday, his hand hurts. but that was expected. it took the brunt of the trauma.
I am going to see a new client todaywe had the day off scheduled because we were going to get a big storm. hardly any rain and the storm is passed us so I will see a client whose daughter really tried to get me to see her today. I held a boundary but her toe nails really bother her so I will go now.she should have been soaking a good bit by the time I get there.
thanks for asking about jeff.
how are you doing?
