Yes I was bullied from the age of 7-11 years old by the same witch of a girl. All because I have learning disabilities. It only stopped cause she was finally moved out of the class. She attacked me in the street and pushed me down the stairs at school. The school was useless at bullying back then in the early 90's. I still hate her to this day for what she put ne through... she made my life hell

Question: What is your favourite Musical(s)? I've just seen Hamilton at the theatre and found it amazing. I just love musicals

No although I did see Dr Oz speak long before he was famous and I could have gone through a line to meet him and ask him questions if I had chosen to. They were actually bribing women with food and a gift bag to come hear this man speak for women's heart day or something like that. Now they'd charge a fortune for the same speech although he'd not give the same speech as he's changed a lot since then.

What celebrity would you like to have dinner with?

I would like to have dinner with the late American author David Foster Wallace. I talk to him sometimes in my head. He is a very good listener!

What's an experience you've had that's so painful that you've sworn off it and kept your promise? Mine was marriage.

I don’t. My future sight is maybe a couple days max.

Do you have a collection obsession? Anything specific like hats or candles or whatever?

I have never had a collection obsession, but back when I would often get hypomanic, I would buy repeated similar items, and yes, accumulated many candles at some point, many, many different color/scent body washes at another time, many craft items, many house organization items, etc. I do not do it anymore.

Same question, but this time about a true OBSESSION.

Not usually but last year when I was severely depressed I found this body wash that made me feel better, if only for a few moments at a time. I bought every bottle I could find because I was terrified of running out. I have been using it for over a year and have I think 8 bottles to go. I took a picture of it and showed my therapist that I was labeling it bipolar meets OCD.

What do you listen to in your car while driving?

Spiders! Their crawling is creepy, they can fall or crawl on you and they have fangs!

Have you ever sung in a choir?

No, I never have.

Has your mania ever been brought on by shopping?

I don't think so. I hate shopping so don't find it exciting, even when manic.

Have you ever seen the Northern lights?

No, every time it comes far enough south there is either clouds or I forget to go out and look.

Do you get tired of saying no to a persistent person?

I don't have any super persistent people in my life, at least not right now.

Were you the studious type or the party type?

Definite party type. Partying and manic for me went hand in hand.

Do you have a dual diagnosis?

I have many diagnoses but none relating to drugs or alcohol.

Are you having bad side effects from your medications? I am suffering from Tardive dyskinesia lately because my doctor took me off Ingrezza for some unknown reason! I am suffering so much!

Sorry to hear about your Ingrezza situation @Moose72. That really sucks.

I don't have any really bad side effects, no. Nothing intolerable or that I can't handle.

Same question.

Nothing terrible. Usual clozapine stuff like drooling and needing incontinence pads at night and since starting Seroquel I've had terrible dry mouth but nothing I can't handle/am not used to.

Do you have trouble with getting meds filled appropriately at your pharmacy or is it just me? If you've been on clozapine did you have trouble then?

No, trouble. But I’ve never been on clozapine. About a decade or so ago I was on opioids and had trouble getting some of them. You could only get 30 days at a time in a narrow window. Often they’d say they had to order it! They knew I’d need a refill! Why didn’t they automatically reorder it so it was ready? Duh!

Yes! The whole fiasco about being taken off Ingrezza and then insurance saying they wouldn’t cover it when I tried to refill. My Pdoc told me today that the psych hospital couldn’t get Ingrezza so they just arbitrarily took me off it which screwed up everything!

Have you ever eaten the Korean dish b bim bop?

I have never had Korean food. I don't even know of a Korean restaurant closer than 2 hours from here (I don't know of one there either but those cities I'm sure are big enough to have them).

What is your favorite Girl Scout cookie?

Lemonades. It’s a sugar cookie with a paste of lemon flavor on the back. Second favorite is mint.

We’re a small town but we have an authentic Korean restaurant here. I love their teas. I’ve only had about 3 of their dishes, I don’t know what I’ve eaten. I just point at the picture. So far it’s delicious.

Plenty of Korean restaurants, but never went to one. Sounds delish though! Will have to try it.

When you were in a low mood, how did you find ways to get out of it?

I was in a very low/aggitated mood yesterday. I tried talking to my non-boyfriend but he made it worse. What’s helped has been talking with my mom.

If you celebrate Easter, what are you doing tomorrow? We are getting together with family for a lamb dinner.
