I am not sure what to do

I am alone practically all the time except for two kitties and Marci who comes on monday and tuesday. i am still feeling a lot of pain from last fall.
i can ask for a friendly visitor but i don't think i want to make the effort.
i have been eating a lot, especially candy but just ordered very healthy food that you can as much as you want to. right now i feel nausea with a stomach ache from ibs.

Hi @morgydog. I'm sorry to read that you struggle with IBS and pain. Do you see a GI doctor who might help with the IBS? I also hope you will tell your psychiatrist and therapist, if you have them, about any depression. I'll assume you are depressed, from the sound of your post. It may even be likely that any depression exacerbates GI issues. I know it can for me.

I know that depression can bring on isolation, and therefore loneliness. I also know well how it can destroy relationships. But there can be recovery with proper help...and time. And even if we don't have a group around us, we can find satisfaction enough to compensate a bit. But again, depression must be fought away. It is hard, for sure, but it happens.

WOW-so grateful for your thoughtful response, just now my pudgy, 15 1/2 jumped off the chair and is sitting. she has been through so much with surgery on her ulcerated cornea. now i finally see her eating. I have always loved my animals too much. i thought the worse was coming shortly.
After all these many years I am on EFFEXOR that definitely helps a lot with depression but of course not sadness lol.
I have been overspending and overeating and have been reckless,
I just have to try harder, I am recovering from another bad fall but feel so better today. I am blessed. I have deep faith in God.
