rambling a little

Hey everyone its been a while since I've been on this thread. I wanted to say thank you to everyone who gave me support on here. I also wanted to say that I've been doing well and I hope you all are too. I started taking my meds consistently and abilify is helping my mood for sure. I also got promoted at work and now I'm a store manager.
Entirely on another note I also found out today that I got called a racial slur a little while back (I'm mixed, some people can't tell and some can) and I don't know how I feel about it. The person wasn't close to me or anything, just a stranger. It makes me think of how my mom was always scared if someone would find out what exactly she was even though she doesn't know. The erasure is wild. Anyway.
I'm also writing more. I'm writing a book about my life so far. I have about 65 pages. My mother has been reaching out to me more but I don't really like communicating with her. I think about what publishing my writing would do. I don't think I should stop writing because I know I have to share my story. But overall I'm doing pretty darn good.

I'm sorry about the racial slur situation though. It's ridiculous how mean people can be sometimes.

Welcome back! I'm also on Abilify and it definitely helps keep my psychosis at bay. Particularly my paranoid thoughts!
