how are you affording it? you must have a discount card.
I paid $350 for the first month and will pay $500 a month and there after with the increase in this med.
I have lost a few pounds nothing to brag about. I think I need to stop drinking so much beer. That will help.
I have labs to do tomorrow morning. I need to remember that I have a urine test in the morning. May I could pee and then drink a bunch of water.
I hate getting my labs drawn!! Some times they have to move the needle around...ouch!

He's lost 30 lbs in about 6 months. He has about 170 more to go. It's covered by his insurance currently but we may have to change insurance soon. Hopefully it's still covered.

That is fantastic. Does he get nauseous still if he eats too much?
My scale is not cooperating...Up then down I don't even really think I have lost anything. very discouraging.I splurged at dinner tonight we went out to eat at a seafood place and had half a quesadilla.I was only going to eat a quarter of the meal but ended up taking home 2 pieces.
I am stuffed. I also ate a charbroiled corn on the cob. my favorite!!!!
I had 2 old fashions drinks.

This is the third injection so I lost about 4 pounds. not as quickly as I would like.
I am drinking alcohol. wonder if that makes a difference.
The vial is easy to draw up and painless so that is good.

My increased dose starts on sunday.
Hoping that I see a bigger response.
I have lost 6 pounds in 3 weeks2 pounds a week seems healthy.
I think with the increased dose I will lose more. I need to eat more protein to help prevent muscle wasting.

They want my husband to have 170 grams of protein. So we bought muscle milk 50 mg of protein powder and he has to drink 3 servings a day. We have Greek yogurt, protein bagels, eggs, we don't like beans but beans are really good, nuts, PB powder, protein bars as snacks, it's really hard to get enough protein and expensive but worth it.

That is a lot of protein!!!!
my need is probably 90 grams.
I used to have this book protein power. I need to look for it.
it helps you figure out how much protein to eat and ways to get more.
I think one egg has 7 grams of protein.
One can of tuna fish has 21 grams. If I remember that right.
good luck! keep me posted.
