Have you tried Keppra? It's way off the beaten path and I have no idea if it's used for BP at all now. I tried it over 20 years ago but got a rash and had to stop it. However if you're looking for something different it might be worth a shot? I've never talked to my pdoc about it again so I really don't know if it works but I do know my pdoc doesn't go for fads so if she tried it she thought it had reasons to work. IDK. I just know how hard it is when you've been through everything.

No, haven’t tried that one. I’ve never heard of Keppra being used for bipolar. I looked it up and there’s some evidence it can help mania, but also some sources say it can cause mania and depression and decrease the length of time between episodes. I guess I’ll ask my pdoc when I see her.
