OMG,

It seems that the last four days I have been a reall Ahole to everyone. I waske up as an *** and every one in my house started calling me Leon Helmsley lol. I know I am not acting the right way but I can't help it. Could this be due to bipolar disorder, I am also under alot of stress, and no supported by any one in my immediate and extended family .

Thanks'

Roman James

Hello
A doctors visit would help you to discover what is truly going on in your life. You will need an assessment to discover if its bi polar disorder and if so medication.
What has changed in your life for you to become an A hole.
Once you find out what the stresses are in your life you may find ways to lesson these stresses or rid them in your life. Are you depressed now or have you been depressed in the past?
I hope you found this helpful.

stress can really set off behaviors that many of us are not comfortable with. i know i can get irritable and testy. have you even been given a diagnosis, if there is one?
i do know that if i brisk exercise daily it really helps me with stress and gives my mind a rest. sorry you don't have a support system. do u have a trusted friend you could share your feelings with? or a schoool counselor, etc?please let us know how u are doing cause you do matter to us, RJ.

I think you might be referring to AGITATION. I get that A LOT. I have been DXed with bipolar. But other things too.
All I know is sometimes I have mixed episodes, which are episodes of bipolar just like mania is an episode and depression is an episode. There are two types of mixed episodes, one is dysphoric mania and one is agitated depression. They are sort of similar. I think there are definitions on PC, come to think of it.
As you can tell from the titles, people in either, don’t really sound like people you want to hang around with. CUZ THEY ARE NOT IN GOOD MOODS!!!!!
So, I can totally relate and think there is a very good possibility that your agitation is part of your bipolar.
But, I aint no doc. This is just what the docs tell me.
Hang in there kid. It is tough. It is rough.
Meds and therapy help. Not having family support does not. People don’t seem to understand that it is just as painful on the inside as it comes out on the outside.
I get away from people as much as possible when agitated because no matter how nice people are, they are just aggravating, if I am dysphoric manic, I am speeded way way up, and others are way, way too slow, if I am agitated depressed they are too, too loud…
Sorry dude---I feel for you. It is difficult to control it. I try really, really hard. But it is difficult.
