You cry while watching cartoons...

I do that, especially while watching Sailor Moon, aha.

your moods are so extreme that even you can't stand dealing with them and you wonder why anyone else would want to put up with you.

You tell your T everything you hate about yourself (because that's what you want him to help you with). Then since now he knows what you're like, you assume he MUST hate you now.

You're a dog person...because dogs love you unconditionally. Something we crave so deeply.

You're at the office waiting for your pdoc visit & happen to see your psychologist pass by. But she doesn't look at you, or wave, or anything; so she must hate you, and you probably need to cancel your next appointment with her, bc she's dreading your visit & you definitely don't want to see her then anyway! You'll just be annoying her the whole time and she can't help you if she's annoyed by your mere presence anyway. Yeah a new psychologist would just be much better.

Something similar happened to me. Saw my pdoc in the elevator after my appt. No acknowledgement, no hello, no eye contact, nothing. The whole damn elevator ride. I never went back. In your case though - maybe she just didn't see you.

Technically, at least where I live, t's and pdocs can't acknowledge you outside of your session unless you initiate the contact due to confidentiality laws and rules

You posted your first comment in the intro. thread on the psyche forum, but there is no reply yet. Was it a stupid question? Did people not get my humor? Should I erase it? Maybe they (moderators) just haven't gotten to it yet. Maybe I should just do something else....but maybe I should I look just to make sure? Maybe I should cancel my thingy (subscription). If I just ignore it, pretend I didn't join, it won't matter, I can stop thinking about it.... I need to look. Did someone else pose the same question & I should have looked more? Did I violate some rule, cuz afeterall I did not read the rules as ussual, which would of course be my fault....
Thanks for this!

When i start to do this and feel this way- I tell the dog he is not better than me, then pat him on the head.. I do this in front of my boyfriend at times too
It is a sucky feeling, but the dog is a dog- they will be about anyone's friend right?

when your DBT therapist admits she's really worried about you and that you have to speak on the phone with her daily as well as daily contact with the crisis team and see a crisis team dr to talk about options including re starting meds and more admissions. so you decide to lie on all the calls cuz you don't want to be trapped. :s

When you talk to or text with your t 7 of the last 8 days. Including having a session, and then needing to contact her later that day.
When your t makes you go home and bring her back your med stash...
When you figure out that she may have your med stash, but the ones you take on a daily basis are just as deadly
