This is a great thread! ... and a long one, so I haven't read them all. Somehow I don't think this will be a repeat.

... you were in a fight with your husband, ran off to the kitchen and cried because of how badly you treated him, and when he followed you, you threw a slice of (cold) pizza at him because he caught you crying.
Thanks for this!

You know you're borderline when you're playing "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?" on Facebook, and because you miss the first few questions, you type "I suck" into the chat box. You stop just short of angrily quitting the game and (literally) beating up on yourself for being a stupid idiot who doesn't deserve to live. You go on to win third place and make it to the final round, which you get right. But you are still (figuratively) beating up on yourself and calling yourself crazy because of your earlier reaction. And, you are even questioning yourself for posting this, because telling people you made it to the final round and got the bonus question right sounds like bragging that you're smart, and that's why nobody likes you, you know-it-all brainiac nerd.
Thanks for this!

Your arguing with your OH , he threatens to leave, you tell him to get the **** out because he drags you down and you are better off without him so he goes and you spend the rest of the night crying wondering why he has left...they all leave...you cannot be loved obviously. You end up ringing him and begging him to come back and apologise for the argument that was started by him just to have him come home

It ****s you off even more that he doesnt ask why you are upset or take any notice that you are crying

you know you're borderline when you decide you hate your family because they are making you do things like get out of bed, have a shower and go for a walk.
Thanks for this!

You get put in the hospital due to passing out while driving and then crashing. You spend the entire three days warning the nurses that if you don't get to home home soon, you are going to lose it/have a meltdown.

I'm ok. Frustrated because I'm probably going to lose my license because nobody can figure out why I passed out. Found out yet another med my pdoc prescribed for sleep is not covered by insurance. I'm just going to lose it now and get it over...

Nicoleb2- wish you well, try to find a calm place, I know that is hard.

- is there any way to try to get help with your meds? Insurance sucks I know- I am not sure why I have mine. but I saw this on psych central one day
http://psychcentral.com/lib/2006/pha...ount-programs/
and
http://psychcentral.com/lib/2006/fin...with-rxaminer/

Personally have not try but if it is offered it may help with meds.

Do hope you well, Hopefully they can find out why you fell asleep while driving that is so scary- regardless with losing licenses or not- falling asleep, out of no where needs a solution for your safety.

Oh yeah, when I was being transferred from one hospital to another, the nurse told the ambulance driver that I "like to cut" because she saw some of my scars... and then I got asked about my depression at least 6 times, as if everything that happens in my life is due to depression!

I just *HATE* it when everything always comes back to the depression, as if that's all there is to us.

You know you have BPD when your husband is not home at 3:30 pm everyday on the nose and you flip out wondering where he is. Don't bother checking the calendar on the wall to see if he has an appointment. Call his work. Only to find out he is on duty (military) and it was written on the calendar already.
Thanks for this!

You know you have BPD when you have an open relationship with your spouse and talk about a big talk about being ok with it. But it only pisses you off later on. Meanwhile you have no interest in the open relationship aspect of it.

Get Jealous for no reason? Like seriously he is only talking to his friend. Jealous
Thanks for this!

when you get taken to ED cuz you cut & ODed and all the nurses know you and are like oh yeah you where here at the start of the week, the week before and the week before etc.. also when the psych reg knows your history and talks like he'll be seeing you in a week give or take.

I'm not aloud.. my cousins will only take me to that one because they are happy that I don't have long admissions.. I'm new to Sydney from Melbourne and wouldn't know where another one is either.

plus the crisis team that keep in contact are connected to the one I go to.

I have a long history of admissions even though I'm only 19 in Melbourne and moving here is meant to help me and keep me out of hospital.. so everyone wants admissions as short as possible 48hours max.

no but longer IP admissions weren't working. I had a 16week one where things got worse not better.

so I don't really know what to do..
