There are so many times I cant make up my mind on any thing, For fear I will be making the wrong decision, I wish I could just trust my decisions and not have so much anxiety that goes along with it

It's ambivalence. Anything is better than being stuck doing nothing.

I'm awful at making important decisions. I really do try, but it's certainly not one of my strong points. When I do manage to make a decision, I often find myself regretting it even if logically I know it was the right thing to do.

Hi Wolfeyes,

Are there any decisions in there you could make a "pro's" and "con's" list for??
Even the process of actually having made one of those and deciding from there could maybe help you feel a little more confident in your decision.........

But bear in mind that in some cases there are no "wrong" decisions.........there could be some "better" decisions but that needn't make others "wrong".
Then another time/another situation you might make a "better" decision if this one isn't so much. And naturally the first decision/s wouldn't have been "wrong", they'd just be a learning process, right??

And sometimes whatever decision you make it can still be impossible to predict the future as to how it will actually work out in the end..........so maybe find out and go with what works best for you..........for some people that's going to be working logically through the decision, for some it's trusting their gut feeling, for some it's bits of both.
It's as much about making the best decision at the time, some will work out better than you hoped, some as well as you hoped, some not as well as you hoped. Whatever happens you needn't be "wrong" if you've made the best decision you can at the time

But in some situations a "wrong" decision really doesn't have to be completely "bad", sometimes there can still be some benefits from the decision...........you may have to think hard about them.........but there can be............and benefits are benefits

But last thing.........maybe have a list of things that really matter to you when considering decisions e.g. your safety, your friendships, your particular goals, your self-respect, your independence............and try to make a decision based on whichever applicable ones which help them or have minimal impact on them depending on the decision???

Just some thoughts............
