I haven’t had DBT. But I’ve had some success in being in “wise mind” - some of the time

Emotional mind
Logical mind

Wise mind

(Have I got it “right” )

That’s wonderful! It is a helpful concept. My biggest issue is when my emotions go from zero to 100 in a matter of seconds. When that happens I cannot access my logical mind, much less my wise mind! I guess it’s just part of having PTSD or maybe BPD. I dunno. Either way, I am glad wise mind helps you. We need some help in relieving pain.

I’m glad you’ve found some success with wise mind!! So far I have not. I can logically know that I’m being irrational but I can’t turn it into wise mind.
