Hi everyone,
I have lordosis, which limits my movements and causes back pain. I've been to 2 doctors when I was younger, one prescribed a myorelaxant and the other told me I should swim more. Neither helped, so lately -since the pain got worse and my posture is terrible- I've been looking for exercises that I could do at home to get a little better. Stretching exercises offer only temporary relief, some yoga exercises work better, some make things worse. Last week I tried doing the 5 tibetan rites and they work wonders. I wanted to share this link with you all, in case someone here can benefit from it as well. I can't do all 5 of the rites, not so much because it would cause pain but simply because my spine just isn't flexible enough. I adapt the movements I can't perform to my capabilities and I'm already feeling a great difference. Finally I sleep through most of the night: no more waking up every 5 minutes to adjust my position ![]() I really hope this will help someone else here as much as it's helping me. Just remember to be careful: if in doubt, ask your doctor if it's ok for you to do this kind of exercise ![]() Take care ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yes, they combine various yoga poses to create a complete workout for your back (= they make every muscle that sustains your spine work)
![]() I think that it's not so important to do every rite perfectly, but rather to start somewhere and do what you can adjusting it to your abilities. At least I focus on improving and if one day I'll become as flexible as the lady in the video, even better ![]() Let me know if you try, I'm very interested in other people's experience. After years of pain it's such a relief to finally find something that helps and I'm very eager to share it so that others can benefit from it as well ![]()

Thank you for sharing this *freak* - its wonderful you found something to help your pain. Yoga or exercises like this are great for pain and to increase flexibility. When my dog gets up after resting, the 1st thing she does is do a long stretch lol, but we humans forget to take care of ourselves. I'll give this a try and thanks so much for sharing this.
