At first, I thought it was a sore throat but it's not in the throat. It's by the side. It's a side muscle. when I touch a part of my neck, I feel pain. I was drinking orange juice and it was so painful but then I done some gentle stretching and then there was some relief. thank goodness! But I have been in my bed mostly today. I have achy limbs and I had nausea but I feel slightly better. All I want to do is sleep. If this is tear, will it heal? I really hate suffering. It's the worse feeling ever.

Sorry you are in pain. You might want to check with you doctor if it doesnt get better in a couple of days. Sounds like it might be a pulled muscle but I would think that would cause nausea or extreme drowziness. Hope it gets better soon.
Gayle
Thanks for this!

Sorry you're in pain MissInvisible. Did you injure your neck? If you didn't injure it and woke up that way, I don't think you need to worry about a torn muscle. It definitely hurts though doesn't it. You can apply an ice pack for 10 mins but make sure you cover it with a light cloth. Take some ibuprophen if it doesn't bother your stomach...always with food. Hope you feel better soon.

I was planning to visit the doctor if it doesn't improve. I'm a little nervous thinking about it.

I'm really sure, I just woke up with soreness in my side neck. Maybe I hurt myself doing yoga or during sleep. I had my full 7 hour sleep without waking up so I see an improvement. Yesterday, I kept waking up and it was annoying. When I was walking to the kitchen this morning, I sorta lost my balance. Thanks for your tips

It sounds like you're doing the best thing by resting. I can't think of anything else a doctor could do for it. The achy, limbs, nausea, and fatigue don't seem to go with a simple muscle strain. If that continues, you should see a doctor. I hope it eases up soon.

Hows your neck feeling MissInvisible? One thing i forgot to mention is....swollen lymph nodes in your neck could be a possibility, especially since you were saying you also had other symptoms.

It has all healed up. Thank you for asking. I don't feel any pain. But I will have to be more careful with my body.
