Im suffering a terrible headache again from my back. Woke up with it, wont go away. Tried five extra strength tylenol (dont worry checked with doc first and said although I shouldnt do it often, up to 4000 mg one time here and there is ok) still have the damned headache. Tried a cup of coffee as doc said a little caffeine can help sometime.

hot bath has been tried. I am so sick of these headaches. What do you all do with terrible headaches? I hate being so sore.

I'm unsure of how you are sure your headaches are from your back. However, any head pain needs to be addressed with more than meds that don't work Chronic Headaches - from my back Is it that your back pain is severe enough that your muscles are tensing and causing the tension headache? Are you stressed because of severe back pain?

Have you tried ice packs on the painful back area? (((hugs))

Rainbowzz, I'm so sorry you are having these horrible headaches. I am very lucky, according to my pm. I have a really bad neck and back, but I rarely have the headaches. I am so thankful for that but I do feel sorry for you and the others that have these headaches.
I wish there were something I could do.
I hope your headache goes away soon.
Linda

thank you firstly everyone for your replies.

Sky, what happens is the muscles in my back get so notted and tensed that it eventually works its way right up my spine to my neck = tension headaches. Ive got two slight curves + degenerative disc in my back so I get flare ups like this sometimes. This is day three of this headache.

I am more than willing to try the chocolate! Chronic Headaches - from my back
