Cake, my Mom had in home PT. It was great. I'm with Gus about not having to drive afterward.

Oh Gus, I love that picture! I wish I were there enjoying the great outdoors. Thank you.

I just came from Physical Therapy. Everything went really well with the staff. There were no reprisals at all and the Slimy Man said little or nothing and left early. That was good.

My back is so inflamed that it is very hot to the touch. She said I've got deep inflammation and not to use my heating pad on it.
I see the Dr. on Wed. I guess I'll do as little as possible for the next few days and stick with the recliner as much as I can.

How are all of you? How's your pain? What's going on with you?
I love you all!

I've been caring for my mom full time for the last 36 hours or something. She's in the hospital and I've had to do a lot of walking and driving. She's been thru several tests and... I dunno. I'm tired, triggered, in pain, exhausted, wired, in danger of engaging in risk behavior, in DBT, talking care (sort of) of two households...
Yeah
Thanks all
Hugs

Shattered, I'm so glad your pain is down.
That is great news, indeed. I hope you have a great weekend.

Kiya, I'm so sorry you're going through this. You have to take care of you first before you can take care of your Mom. I know it's hard. I remember taking care of my Mom and it's hard, hard work. Please be kind to yourself. You are important!

in a lot of pain today.

half of me wants to scream (that feeling when you're screaming from the inside), and half of me just wants to give up with trying to get things done- at least for today

Shattered, I'm sorry you are in so much pain today. It's ok to give yourself a break until you can recoup.

Gus, thank you for the daisies! I love them.

Belle's appointment for surgery is scheduled for the June 9. We didn't make it. She went into estrus today. Eek, indeed.

Jan, check with the vet's office. It is possible for them to spay her while she's in heat, but is more complicated. Some vets will do it and some won't.

Shattered, sorry you are hurting so much.

Gus, thanks so much for the pretty pictures you post. They are day brighteners!

Thinking of you Kiya. That's a rough position to be in.

Cake, how you doing hon?

Pain level is at background noise level, but am exhausted. I slept 11 hours last night and feel like I could go back to bed. Had plans to drive to my Mom's house and take care of some things there. Am going to spend the day vegging instead.

Thank you, Liz, I'll call on Tues. I didn't know that. I had to fix some chicken for Belle today. She has been refusing to eat anything, but she liked that.

I hope you get some more rest. You must really need it!

Gus, thank you for the pics. Your captions are so cute!

I had the weirdest experience this week. It's not fibro related, more old shyte popping up. I just need to tell someone about it.

some background - My father was an abusive alcoholic. Beer was his usual drink.

This week while listening to an audiobook the character was drunk and speaking to another character. The actor reading the book did an excellent job of portraying drunken speech. As I listened I could smell the beer breath my father used to have. It wasn't like a memory or the smell. I would swear I actually could smell the odor. MAybe it was a flashback? I dunno, but it was weird and unsettling.

Kiya, get all the rest you can. You must really need it. I hope you are feeling better today.

Liz, it was a flashback. I have them too, sometimes and they are unsettling to say the least.

Gus, I hope things are better soon. You are loved. Remember that.

Belle was very sick last night. She spit up for hour hours. I gave her medicine to her and I have to give it with a syringe.
She always fights me on it and she must have choked. She scared me to death. This morning she is back to being lethargic, but she's been that way since she started being in heat.

I have a very bad upper respiratory and bronchial infection. I am cancelling my appointments today to try to get it under control. If not, I'm going to have to go to my family Dr. before I get full blown bronchitis. From the way I'm wheezing, I suspect I already am there.

Stick Man is outside making all kinds of noise. He is supposed to be out of here by the first. I hope he's moving his stuff out, but all I know is he's yelling outside. Oh well. At least I was awake anyway...

If you don't mind, send good thoughts and/or prayers for Belle and for me.

I hope all of you had a good day yesterday and that you are pain free. I love you all.

So many people have this crud that I can't get in to see any Dr. at the clinic at all this week. I am going to call in the morning and see if there were any cancellations. I feel horrible. Belle doesn't feel much better than me. We are a sad pair.
