The meeting went well today. My teeth stayed in while we talked and had tea. I'm so grateful for that.

I had a lot of errands to run today and I managed to get them done. Tomorrow it's back to the dentist to have the uppers adjusted some more. It cuts my mouth. I have appointments every day this week. Whew!

When I got home, there was a letter on my door from upper management here. I have 30 days to get Belle spayed! I am not ready to do that. She's so tiny and she gets so scared. Will she change? Will she lose her puppy ways? Does anybody know?

Belle escaped twice this morning while I was trying to go out the door. She was very naughty. I taught her to "stay" while I go out the door, but apparently she just couldn't do that today. Maybe I need to buy some kind of gate or something, but they are very expensive.

Jan see if there is a used baby store like once upon a child near you. They take gentally used kids clothes and furniture and resale it at a very good price. They sale clothes toys beds cribs etc. I have bought a lot of stuff for my kids there and I have sold them some of my kids stuff. They might just have a gate to keep kids out of an area well those gates also work on dogs. Not cats but dogs

She will not loose her puppy ways however spaying her will cost you. Our daughter just got her female dog spayed and since she is a large dog she also had her stomach tacked down. The dog had to stay overnight at the vets and it cost her close to $800. Now don't freak out. Her dog is a German Shepherd and since she was going to be under she had the stomach tacked down. That cost about $200.

I know you can get it done cheaper. Call spay clinics in your area etc. she went to our vet our vet can be a little on the expensive side. But we have gone to this place for 22 years they always have someone on staff and if it's an emergency I can always get in.

I am in a lot of pain. I see the cardio doctor tomorrow and my pulmonary doctor and I see the rhemy next week so my cardio doctor and my rhemy are in the same office so I called to see if she could get me in for a quick shot in my hip. the nice nurse came on and I couldn't understand what time she said to come in so I am going to go about 30 minutes before my cardio appointment hopefully everything works out. By the time I get home I will be dead

I just hope my pulmonary doctor doesn't give me any trouble if he tells me to loose weight I might just smack him. Last time he told me to do that he upped my prednisone to 60 msg a day and while he is telling me this he's eating candy.

((((( Cake ))))) I'm so sorry you have to go to so many doctors tomorrow. You are going to be so tired when it's done, but maybe you will get a little bounce back by the next day. I hope so. I, too, hope your Dr. doesn't tell you to lose weight, especially while he's eating candy! Who does the think he is? I sure hope you get your shot.

Thank you for the great idea of where to get a baby gate for Belle. I really appreciate it. I'll start Googling and see what I can find.

I am eligible for a $50 voucher for Belle. I'll call tomorrow and see what hoops I need to jump through to get it. I'm sure they need documentation of my income. She needs her broken teeth checked and possibly pulled while she's under and I want her micro chipped for safety. So, I'll have to pay for those extra things.

If I had to pay $800 for Belle's surgery, we'd have to move into a tent somewhere to just survive!

Thank you for explaining Belle will still be the puppy she is. I don't want her to change. Well, I do want her to quit escaping out the door, but you know what I mean.

Hey I am kinda non verbalahout my pain. I have nothing nice to say about Fibro atm ..... Im reading alot here and silently wishing everyone will get a damn break from pain and the constant crap we have to jump through to get damn near anything done.

She will be fine but one thing my daughter didn't count on was that her dog had to spend the night at the vets. I thought she was going to have a panic attack but she didn't she cried a lot but I thold her to think of it this way it's a night away from the kids

Kona her dog also came home with some meds so be prepared for that and the cone of shame. She will need to be kept calm so if I was you I would make sure your calendar is clear for a few days afterwards. She did have to take kona back to get her stitches out.

Not looking forward to all those doctors appointments. I wish the cats would have at least let me sleep till 4 am but nope 2:30 sunny had me up. Hopefully I can go back to sleep for a little bit.

I hope Liz is ok

Pain level is finally back to its normal background level. Am still exhausted, but not hurting like and SOB at least.

Liz this may sound stupid but what does SSDD mean

Well 3 doctors appointments in one day just about killed me. My last appointment was supposed to be at 3:15 or 3:30 can't remember which I was there at 3:00 pm. At 3:40 the doctor still wasn't there and there was 2 people ahead of me and they were new patients so they would take longer. I just needed my refills and something for my sinuses. They put me in a room at 3:50 I didn't get out of there till 5:00 pm and he spent all of 5-7 minutes with me. He asked what my O2 levels have been and I told him. I also asked can I get a portable O2 machine for the days it drops below 90 and he said the insurance will not cover it.

By the time I left his office and got in my truck I could hardly walk and I still had to pick up something for dinner. I got home at 5:45 pm. I was able to get a shot in my hip and my leg is feeling a little better.

I was supposed to go to the pharmacy today but they had to order some of my meds and they would not be ready till this afternoon. By this afternoon a nice migraine had set in so hubby said to eat something and take my meds and lay down. That's what I have been doing most of today. But I will have to go to the pharmacy tomorrow.

Cake, what a marathon you had! I'm glad you've been resting.
Can you call your insurance company yourself and see if there is any way to get an exemption on the 02 tank? It sounds like you really, really need it.

Please forgive me if I've skipped anyone. I know Elsa and Emily are out there and I hope you guys are doing well.

I am operating on very little sleep until I eventually just crash for a little while. The pain is very high. I went to PT today and instead of my usual therapist, I had a man. He's nice, but I don't like being massaged by a man... I had to pull in my triggers to get through it. Lord willing, I go back on Friday.

Cake, i've been on oxy and CPAP for 6 yrs now,, i think i know more than the docs,,, if you are on Medicare i know the rules, if not, your insurance prolly uses the same ones... i'll PM you

Thanks I am having a SSDD kinda of day. Between my daughter yelling at me the cats waking me up at 3 am (but I kinda of think hubby is the one that woke me up) anyway he wanted me to book our plane tickets because at 3 am California time Southwest opened up their availablity and he wanted to get a jump on everyone. Who thinks clearly at 3 am ? Not me

My daughter saying I don't care etc then I had to go to the pharmacy and get meds and hubby informs me that we are going to have a freaken pool party with a whole roasted pig on the 3 day week wth? Who is going to clean and get ready for this party? With my migraines he expects me to do it all? I don't think he even knows what goes into throwing a party

I just want to hide somewhere

Omg it's been a really rough day for me but I had to tell you guys something. Our cat sunny is a senior and him and my husband have never really liked each other but since my daughter moved out and left him he will let my husband pet him etc but he will not let hubby get close to me. He wiggles his way between us. It's funny.

Anyway hubby is getting on my last nerve and he sat down on the couch I was on one end sunny was in the middle and ken was on the other side. Well hubby said something to make me mad so I told sunny to get him and he did. OMG he hissed at him and Swiped his claw at ken and sunny hair was standing up. He totally listened to me and protected me. Hubby is not happy not happy at all and I can't stop laughing

Well, Liz, I know about SSDD now! That's just too cute!

My friend came here to have oral surgery today. He needed someone to drive him and there are no oral surgeons in the rural area where he lives. Well, he did well during the surgery, but my van broke down on the way home - in record temps. I was so thankful to finally get safely home! It's going to cost a lot of money. The alternator died, but a my other friend's husband is going to replace it for me so I don't have to pay labor costs. That helps a lot.

I'm so grateful we didn't have to get out and walk in the heat.

Gus, I'll try to work on my core exercises. I have to confess that they hurt so much to do and my back hurts so much anyway, that I haven't been doing them.

Jan me and you both. Look on the internet for exercises you can do sittin in a chair or laying down they are out there. Also I am sorry about your van and the heat. I am not looking forward to summer because of the heat. I will be even more housebound. The only good thing is I will be able to swim at night and there is nothing so freeing has swimming when you are in pain it's so freeing

This has been a bad day. Horrible pain. I took a muscle relaxer and have felt like a limp noodle all day. Maybe I'll feel better tomorrow.
