Liz, Happy Birthday!! I'm so sorry your plans were ruined. Quit answering the phone when that woman calls or beg off after a couple minutes. Please don't let her suck the life right out of you. I hope you feel better.

Child, I hope all goes well with you. Take good care and let us know how you're doing.

Christina, please be safe. Thank you for letting us know you won't be in touch for a while.

Kiya, please take good care of yourself. I don't know how to tell you to get better, but I'm pulling for you. Please don't push yourself too hard.

Cake, I hope you feel better soon. Please take it easy and rest all you can.

Gus, thank you for the beautiful picture and sentiment to go with it.

Present and accounted for. Better today, but I overdrew my account by $1.60 😭 So a $30 hit for it. But at least my bills went through- I think. I'm still in shock. Sad, too, because I had change in my purse that could have covered it.
Oh well. Gotta let it go. I will be ok.
Thinking of all you lovely people!!

Kiya, try contacting your bank to see if they will forgive the overdraft. Some will do that. I always thought the high fee was ridiculous for small overdrafts.

Sleep, blessed sleep. (hmmm, can a non-believer say "blessed sleep" )

I was exhausted when my vacation started last week. For a variety of reasons I did not get enough sleep at night the last week or the sleep I got was not restful - bad dreams and stress related to my friend.

I slept 9.5 hours last night! Got up, poked around the house awhile and decided to take a nap. The cats woke me from my cat nap. Had some lunch, poked around the house a bit more and stretched out on the couch again. I woke up TWO hours later! This is the first time in months I haven't been dragging my butt behind me. Am planning to head to bed soon. I hope to sleep just as long tonight.

As a true Beluever in sleep, sleep is, indeed, blessed! Glad it blessed you with its presence!

I would ask if it hadn't just happened in Dec. and they forgave it. I think I just need to take my slap on the wrist -ER- pocketbook.

Kiya, a friend of mine uses a trick to help her avoid overdrafts. When she enters a deposit in her check register she rounds down, when she enters the amount of the check she rounds up. It results in her having a little more in the account than the register says. Maybe that would help you?

I do the same thing. It used to drive my grandmother nuts. She was a bank teller for years then moved up in the bank until she retired

Oh what I am having today. I did not get much sleep last night because if the fireworks. Why people have to shoot off the illeagl one I will never know. A lot of them came from neighbors behind me in the cul-de-sac at home ne point it was close to 11 pm someone litmone off and my whole front room lit up followed by a Big Bang.

I have to give ou dog meds to help her calm down and she did once we put her in her kennel and covered her up. But the cats that was another story.

I ended up sleeping on the couch because it was easier to calm all of them down. If one of the booms woke Sammy the dog up i could calmly say something to her and she settled right down which made it easier for everyone except me who hasn't really slept

We had lots of drama with my daughter and her boyfriend.

I hurt from my head to my toes hopefully I will be able to sleep now that hubby has left for work but we just had a power outage and now I can't get the tv to work right. It's going to be one of those days

Hope everyone is doing ok

My A/C went out last night. This Lizard might like warm temps, but 86 degrees in the house is too hot even for this girl. Am waiting on a return call from the A/C company. I hope they can get out here today to fix it.

I went out and worked on the fence until the A/C guy got here. I figured if I was going to seat bullets I might as well be doing something to make me sweat! Made good progress on the fence too!

A/C guy got here about 4PM. He got things fixed for me. I splashed myself with cold water after he left. Am wearing an oversized T and undies while I wait for the house to cool down. It was 89 in here when he got it fixed. It's down to 85 and feels like heaven.

Well I did the dumbest thing ever today. Rule #1 stay out of the sun. But it was hot and we have a swimming pool. Well I blow up a couple of pool floats with hubby's compressor grabbed a book and a bottle of water and went it. It felt sooooooo good but didn't last long. The sun got to me about 20 minutes later now I have 2 -3 blisters on my face of all places thanks to the sun. We have to try and rig something up so part of the pool is in shade. If not I can't go into the pool till after 6:30 pm and by that time I have already taken my night time meds and usually a wind has kicked up. Oh well.

Liz I hope you are enjoying your vacation

Still no Jan I hope she is ok

Kiya I hope you are doing good

Christina I hope you are ok and will join us again soon.

Gus your pictures always bring a smile to everyone

Sorry if I forgot anyone. Take care

Hugs
