Jan I am so sorry you are going through that. What ever happen to the neighbors? I would hate to have to move. We have been in this house since for close to twenty years and hubby is kinda of a pack rat. I get a headache just thinking about it.

My sister survived her attempt. But it changed the way my parents treated her and me. Because of that I left home right after graduation. She was very very lucky.

Christina it's going to take time but I think you need to find a therapist someone you can talk to and maybe you need to think about moving again. I know you have a lot on your plate but a fresh start ........ a new place where you don't have to look at that door or room. I know you have a full plate with hubby being sick etc. but it's just a thought.

Christina, is there a survivors support group in your area you could attend? Or maybe a social group here? I know how mad I was at hubby for going and getting himself killed. I can only guess at the anger that someone killing themself would create. Plus all the reminders in the house. Someone mentioned moving to get away from the reminders. What about a major redecorating of the room where it happened?

Jan, why are you having to move all your stuff? Did I miss something? I have BG's leash hanging on a hook by my front door in case I need to hook it to him before I open the door. Maybe you could do the same for Belle?

I'm finally over the cold that had me last week. Now I'm "just" dealing with fibro fog and pain. Stress at work is not helping. I just had my seventh "Monday" in a row. Bad enough I work with troubled kids. The so called adults I deal with are even worse!

All the neighbors are in the same shape I'm in here. They made all of us empty our closets and laundry closets. Somehow, my clean blouses ended up on the bottom of the pile on the bed and I can't get to them... Boxes are on top of them. My friend says it will take about a month to get my apartment back in the shape it was. She works full time and has a lot of responsibilities, so she can't help me right away.

The men are supposed to be here at 9:00 a.m. and I can't sleep. I'll put Belle on her leash and we'll sit in the recliner while the men work. I hope they can get it all done in one day.

I did make it to the store. I bought stuff and then had nothing to eat when I got home! Isn't that always the way! I do have some Ensure and I'm going to try that.

Liz so happy to hear you are better and has for my daughter I thought they would take her they sent 4 officers she didn't call me she called her dad and he said maybe it would be good for her to go stay at the hospital. But they didn't take her but her and the jerk got out of town

thanks, everyone~! in addition to a nice meal at my cousin's house, i got to see some wildlife (yearling bucks in velvet, a kestrel hawk, which we call 'gosh-hawks, cause they are so small), a humming bird, turkey vultures, and all kinds of wild flowers~! the late monsoon rains are good for everything.

Cake, I can't believe they didn't put your daughter in the hospital.

They are putting in dryer vents that are up to code. They are going across my ceiling and through all the closets and then out the outside wall. They were to be here at at 9:00 and forgot me! They moved on to the next bldg. They are going to try it again in the morning. Then, after this fracas, they are putting in washing machine plug ins that are up to code. I have to find out what the interval between them is going to be because my friend doesn't want to drag my machines in and out of the laundry room if it's going to be just a few days.

They sent 4 officers and I warned them that she would give them a bad time and one officer thought she should go but then they had to call a female officer who happened to be the boss and she talked to savannah and they let her stay. Once they drove away her and the jerk left and didn't come back till night time

Hey folks. Just an FYI. I might take a few days break from PC. Haven't made up my mind yet. I'm stressed from work and fibro is kicking my butt. The combination is making me cranky. I find myself wanting to scream at some folks here at the site. Not very supportive or helpful and would get me in trouble. So, if I'm not around for a few days, nothing is wrong. I'm just taking a break.

'Having a really hard time. My friends here are both mad at me. I'm too sick to participate in things and sometimes people just don't understand. The men came to work on the apartment. They didn't finish, so my apartment is still in complete chaos.

Jan I am so sorry. It's hard when you have to rely on others to help you do the simplest thing.

This is just a rant. You guys know I have lupus. The sun and the heat make me sick. I also live in the San Francisco Bay Area and we usually get a nice breeze in the evening we do get some warm days like in the 90's. This summer has been the hottest ever. San Francisco was 106 yeasterday it NEVER get that hot there. The last time it was that hot was during the civil war. My town today was 106 the hottest day ever. My husband does not think we need AC. This has been an on going arguement. Now he is even saying it's to hot.

I told him next year if he does not put in AC he is going to come home and I am going. To have window units installed in all of our windows. I have had 2 seizures today and I had one last night while sitting on the pool steps.
