I'm the case of panic and the long travel day, it is what it is. Do what you can and let the rest go. We can only control so much. Maybe you can get an Ativan for the day. I was in the car with my mom and great uncle (who was driving terribly). She said to me Do Something!
I said "He's your uncle!" and popped an Ativan and shut my eyes. She started slapping my arm "that's not what I meant!!" I gave her one, also.
Shrug.
Let go and let God.

I am ok...
Therapist out of town
Anniversary of friend's death
Fell over my duffle bag and pulled a bunch of muscles while also bruising my hip and shoulder so as not to hit my head.
Prepping for the eclipse, which last year sounded fun and now is just a pain in the a.. with a million people coming to the area starting already.
Had a 14 hour day (I never do more than 3-5) and two days later an still so exhausted I could weep.
Have made a new friend in Peer Support which is cool.
Have been painting weekly with others.
I think that's it.
Night all!
Hugs!!!

Kiya, I'm horrified about your fall. How are you feeling? Is it cool enough that you can use your heating pad?

I really like what you did with your Mom and the ativan. Maybe if I can get in to see the pdoc, he'll give me some. I need some meds. I can't shake this by myself, though Lord knows I've tried.

I hope you can avoid all the people coming to your town. Don't go out at all if you can help it. You never know what a crowd beings with it these days.

Gentle hugs/

Well, the walking petri dishes (kids) are back at school. One of the little devils infected me. I have an upper respiratory bug. Exhausted, sinuses are plugged, ears are stuffy, body aches... Did I mention exhausted? Fell asleep sitting up on the sofa the last two nights. If I figure out which of them contaminated me I'm gonna hang them by their thumbs!

I ran all my errands on the way home from work yesterday so I don't have to leave the farm until Monday. I may spend the entire weekend sleeping.

For those with panic/anxiety problems, would melatonin help? I give the dog a melatonin supplement to help with his anxiety about loud noises. I wonder if it would work for people?

Oh gawd, this cold has me but good. I feel like crap. Can't stay home from work tomorrow because there's a meeting I have4 to attend. Then we are having a good-bye party for my boss who got fired. I'm responsible for picking up the catered food we ordered.

Am gonna spend today curled up on the sofa.

((((( Liz )))))

I'm so sorry you are sick and I hope you feel better very soon. Coricidin Flu HBP helps me a lot. It's in a red box. Try it if you can.

Liz, I'm sorry you are so sick! I don't know about melatonin… It is activating for me but certainly worth a try. Or you could get Valerian root capsules or tea. Smells terrible but works pretty well. I hope you feel better soon!

I am pretty much recovered from my fall, but thank you. I think I am also recovered from the fatigue. I have another day to rest so we will see how Tuesday goes… Traffic it may change my Tuesday plans with literally something like 300,000 to 1,000,000 people in the Pacific Northwest. I will be glad when this is over.
I'm not going anywhere tomorrow- will be able to see it fine from here. We will get something like 97% coverage of the eclipse. More than anything else I am dealing with panic right now.
((((( all ))))))

Ps thank you Gus for the pretty flowers to the wall. I especially like that purple one that looks like a piece of fluff.

Here not doing to well. Lots of seizures lots of stuttering can't drive so I took my power chair to the bank because my daughter kept screaming at me to put money in her account and since I am not on her account I could not do it over the phone. Pissed off hubby he was mad at our daughter for harresing me and me for taking off in my powerchair because I could have a seizure in the chair. Learned a valueable lesson. My city needs to redo the sidewalks it's a good thing it has a seat belt our I would have been flying out of my seat.

Kiya you had me rolling about your mom. Ativan sure helps.

Jan how didnyour appoint go? I will have to go back and reread these posts

I have been up since 1:25 am thanks to tummy trouble

Liz sorry you are so sick. My other friend who works with kids who never gets sick got pneumonia and is in the hospital. Got to love those kids they can spread germs like you would not believe.

Still no word from Christina? Hope she is ok

Hugs to all

I am here.

Cake, you really have to do something about not communicating with your daughter. The appt. went well. It's not cancer, so that's a huge relief. I have to go back for further work and also the Dr. told me to go to a few specialists down here to help things. As always, I am a work in progress.

Liz, are you any better? I sure hope so.

Gus, as always, I love the flowers. I like the fluffy one, but I still like the tribble.

I am interested in seeing how Belle reacts to the eclipse today.
I've read that animals sense when it's coming. I don't know about that so we'll see.

Love you all!

I'm lurking just not really verbal about my pain and tomorrow is 4 weeks and I feel no less rage. I have not searched further for a T. Financial it's just not an option, there are no local support groups for anything like this or even Bipolar..

I hope you all take best care of yourselves.

Christina, it is so good to hear from you. I'm sorry things are still so bad for you. Can you perhaps find online support to help you? We all love you and if you ever feel the need to talk to someone, I will be glad to listen. You have a right to your feelings, remember that.

The eclipse was not what I expected. Things hardly changed a bit. Belle didn't notice anything.

I have an appt. in the morning with the gastro. Things are so out of control and I've got to get it stopped. Gastro, fibro, Sjogren's and so much more all flaring and out of control at the same time. I wish the Drs would realize the body is one huge organism instead of picking it apart and trying to patch only one part. I am so weak and dizzy. How am I going to drive to the Dr. tomorrow?

I would love that show. I so enjoy learning how people lived, what they ate, what they wore, etc.

Gus, what is that beautiful clear flower? It looks amazing!

This is really just a rant

My son has autism and mild retardation but he works. No he doesn't work 40 hours a week no he doesn't work 8 hours a day but he works. He only get minuumim wage which isn't a lot and he gets some money from SSA. Rent here is outrageous. A studio apartment is around $2,000 a month who can afford that. what he gets from SSA and work he doesn't even come close to that. Yet I got more paperwork in the mail from SSA asking what type of work does he do etc. it really made me mad because they said I had to have it filled out and returned in 15 days all the way to the east coast wth really. I got the same paperwork last year and his boss and I sat down and filled it out together. I kept a copy so I just needed his earnings from last year to current.

4 days later I got the same type of paperwork for me. I was so mad it wasn't funny. I haven't work but I paid into a long term disability program when I was working and now they think I am working WTH. Luckily I had a letter from the disability company explaining my disability program so I filled out the papers today and I am sending them a copy of that letter and the pay stub injust got in the mail.

I made copies of the blank forms for both me and my son and I am dropping off a set of the forms to the local SSA office and I am mailing a set to the office in Maryland. I also made myself a copy.

I have been doing paperwork for close to 5 hours but here is my thing. I can give them a list of people who is abusing the system yet the people who don't get penalized it's not right nor fair.

I have been so sick lately it's not funny and this just added to my stress and tomorrow I have to go to the rhemy. So inhave to go to the post office, the SSA office then to the rhemy after the rhemy the pharmacy and maybe the bank. I will be dead by the end of the day
