Hi everyone
Gratitude to those who have had good days for posting and remind us all that they do happen (even if there is a price).
I am still quite sick with this -I guess it's now a sinus infection. Feel like crap. But I went to my volunteer site today and will go tomorrow since sinus infection isn't contagious.

I just found out my mom has dementia. Christina, Cake...I'm with both of you. It's been a week for the books. Hospitals, insomnia, dementia, fear of becoming homeless.

Wishing you all some kind of peaceful weekend. I may not be around much. Just know I'm thinking of you.

My thoughts and prayers are with each one of you. We are all facing tough, tough times. I'm truly sorry you are hurting so much, whether physically, emotionally or both.

I am happy to tell you that Belle is back to her normal self.
She's eating enough food for two puppies. I guess she's making up for the days she ate nothing.

I, however, can barely get out of a chair. My left knee is very painful and doesn't want to cooperate at all. I was supposed to have surgery on it, but then they found the mass in my throat and I had to table the surgery. Now I'm paying a price for it.

I also feel like I'm getting strept throat. No fun. I have a lot to do and places I need to go, but I just don't feel like doing anything but sleeping.

Anyway, enough complaining. I again want to tell you I love you and am thinking of each one of you.

Still having pain off and on. Have a re-evaluation for PT on the 6th. But getting out of the house more. Planning on going to a meeting tonight.

Oh Gus, those pictures of the trees are so awesome! I love to walk in the forest and touch the trees.
It's like they each have their own personality and if you're very quiet, you can almost hear them whispering to each other.


Belle is sick today. I gave her something to eat that accidentally gave her diarrhea, so she's kept me hopping cleaning the bathroom floor with disinfectant.

I got Mom's cane out and have been trying to use it when I stand up but I'm doing something wrong. I told the surgeon I'd be back after the tumor crisis was done so he could operate on my knee. There is broken bone floating around in there. He's going to remove the bone and insert Simvisc. I guess I ran out of time before I was ready to go back to the Dr. I don't know how I can have the surgery when I have no one to help me afterwards.

All of you are having problems much worse than trying to figure out how to get out of your recliner. Please check in and let us know how you're doing.

Just taking a bit of a break. I've been cleaning for the last 5 hours today, laundry and really all kinds of stuff. I'm surprised I've been able to do it all. But I'm sore now, and I'm all out of energy. So that will probably be it for today, although I still need to get the fridge sorted somehow. I'm going to go do that in a minute.

Just wanted you all to know I'm thinking of you. Jan, I hope you can find a solutation that works with your knee, with surgery, etc. It is nerve-wracking to try and figure out how to get everything done when one is doing it all on their own, especially when it comes to recovering from something. I've had to recover from surgery on my own without help. I was much younger so I put a brave face on and soldiered through it but it was a difficult time. I hope you get whatever you need to help you take care of yourself.

Thinking of everybody today. Hope you are well, or at least faring not too poorly - I'll take what I can get, myself. The last couple of days have been much better than expected. I'm trying to take it as it comes. Hugs for those who want/need them.

i am trying to sleep off a sinus infection,, don't know if i got it at the doc's office or when i cleaned off the porch~
either way it's only the second time i've been sick in 24 yrs~! (the last time was if Feb. this year and i almost died... O.O). i'm doing much better this year. wish you all well~! (esp. Jan! maybe you can get some in home care after surgery ?? Hope HOpe HOPE~!)

This has been the worst week ever. With Sunny the cat not sleeping and the new med I thought was helping but not but I kinda think it's my fault. He has to eat when he gets his meds so I have been giving him treats. So now he meows because he wants treats. I created s monster. So I am slowly cutting him back. But he has gained almost 2 lbs since he started the medicine and he's reaching the 20lb mark

Sammy the dog is on 3 different meds and I am having to cook chicken and rice daily for her. She seems better but she still has diarrhea. It's a wait and see game. Her labs came out ok but we gpcould not get her pee. We have 30 days to get it for then.

I am in so much pain it's not funny. I am very scared. I am having chest pains and I have chocked on my food twice and coughing it up I could feel every nerve ending on my make it hurt so much.

I am tired of pain, tried if doctors and I am sick and tired of people who do not understand. We have a family trip coming up and my uncle made a rude comment about me sleeping in. Hello we are loosing 3 hours sleep we are coming from the west coast to the east coast (Florida). I have a routine after a day of travel I get to the hotel eat take my meds and go right to bed. I usually take the first couple of days to adjust. My uncle was saying some mean things today about it. Like I am lazy.

No one knows but my hubby and you guys how sick I get. Oh

My daughter just called. She was coming to our house because she was getting harnessed at her place by the evil boyfriend. So while she was trying to leave something got thrown at the driver side window. It shattered and now we are left to pick up the piece.

I wish I could crawl into a hole and stay there for at least a week.

Oh so sunny the cat is sick. Sammy the dog is sick and McGee is getting into trouble around the neighborhood. I got an email from a neighbor he sent it to everyone and it's a picture of a still from his security camera and take one guess who's cat it is? The guy said the cat is meaowing and bullying the other pets. How the heck am I supposed to get him to behave ?

So i just found out my grandpa is in the hospital. He had a bad fall and was alone and stayed alone all night and he's not expected to recover. So sometimes I just kinda feel like it's all a bit too much and right now is one of those times. I hope you all are doing okay. Cake - sorry to hear of all your pain and other stuff going on. It definitely sounds overwhelming. I'm sorry your family isn't more supportive of what's happening to you. One of my biggest problems with what's going on with me is that nobody seems to believe how bad it really is and i get really tired of trying to convince people.

Fibro is not too bad, but arthritis is killing me. I feel like I have ground glass in my joints. Left knee is the worst. Went outside to hang laundry and ended up holding my knee and screaming.

I think I made a mistake yesterday. I tried riding bareback (no saddle) for about 10 minutes. I thought the warmth of his body and the gentle swaying might help my knees and hips. I think it made it worse.

My thoughts to everyone here. I just don't have it in my to respond to everyone individually.

My friend came yesterday and we worked five hours on going through all my belongings and straightening them I have a bedroom again! I'm also very worn out and sore today. I'll try to check in again later.

Belle is doing great. She's very jealous of the computer because I don't play with her while I use it.

Mom’s bone marrow biopsy went well. It came out clear. Doc is confused why the blood would show leukemia but the bone would show clear. He’s looking for another comparable blood test and in the meantime she gets to sit and wait and have another CT in Dec. yay!
