We're home! Belle absolutely panics beyond panic in the van. I don't know what that jerk who had her before did to her in the car, but she's terrified.

I cleaned the markers and then cleaned them again to make sure they are ok through the winter. I almost didn't find my SIL's. I had a big panic attack over it. Belle and I walked forever looking for it. Finally, there it was, to the left of where I remembered it. I looked all over to the right of it. Talk about relief!

The cemetery is on the end of the valley where I grew up. I got so homesick for my Aunts and Uncles that are gone and for my home. I don't belong here. I belong there. Home is not this apartment. It's a home that my Mom sold out from under me. My Dad left it for me, but she sold it.

I literally have no one but all of you to tell this. I feel very small and lonely.

Quickly checking in.... so much going on for everyone.

Gus, I absolutely love the tree house.

Cake, you might be better off finding a bonded pet sitter to come in an take care of the critters when you are away.

Belle, what about giving Belle something to calm her before going somewhere in the van? I used melatonin with BG and it helped.

I know I'm missing people. I haven't posted much lately, but think of all of you daily.

Fibro and CFS are absolutely kicking my butt. I'm in so much pain and so exhausted I just want to throw in the towel.

Having a tough week battling a stubborn kidney infection and having multiple seizures. It has been a long 4 months of getting my butt kicked by lupus. I am ready for a break.

I don't post often but I think of all here and pray that everyone's pain eases up as we head into the Holiday season. Please take care of yourselves and each other. *hugs*

Just a note to let you know Belle and I are still here. I was really sick last night and today Belle and I both have been sick. Poor little thing, I can't give her extra treats today like normal, but she's eating her regular food and drinking her water well tonight.

It's been a long, nerve-wracking day. Hopefully tonight and the weekend will be better. I just wanted to say, "Hi", and that Belle sends kisses to all.

I love those Christmas pics, Gus.

Am returning to something I posted about awhile back. Not going to use the trigger box because I don't think this will be triggery, but be careful if any abuse talk triggers you.

I'm still struggling with old memories that keep bubbling to the surface. I'll be glad to see my pdoc Monday so I can get his input. I've decided I'm not going to bury what happened anymore. I'm not going to just go around telling people what happened, but if the topic comes up I'm going to be open. That said, I'll confess I've been avoiding the news alot lately. The subject is so much right out there in your face in the news lately. It's a bit more than I can handle right now.

On aside note, I heard the results of a study this week that showed the same part of the brain that is activated by physical pain is activated by emotional pain. LEft me wondering if that might be a source of fibro pain.... maybe the pain of abuse causes changes in the brain that lead to fibro pain?

edited to add...

I googled fibro and abuse. Boy howdy did I get hits. There are some studies linking the two. One more ongoing gift from dear old dad.

Two night of less than two hours sleep due to illness and pain. Belle is better today. She's being feisty at the moment.

(((((( Friends & Family ))))) I am so sorry you are all dealing with so much. You are in my thoughts and in my heart.

The Fibromyalgia check in thread #3

(this one is a group of Poinsettias)

it's called a Christmas Cactus, tho it's truly more of a succulent, because it blooms at the end of the solar year. (last year mine bloomed for 6 months~! O.O )

i have PM'd FooZe to start a new thread, because i wasn't able to... gotta ask Liz how she did that~!
