We are finally having a sunny day!

I've been very tired/fatigued. I am adjusting meds, hoping it helps some.
I have lots to do this Spring/Summer.

I hope everyone is as well as can be.

It is snowing here. It's beautiful!

I am ready for Spring, but must admit the snow falling is awesome.

I had the house to myself for a few hours... finally!
I've enjoyed every minute and feel myself tensing up as it's getting close for everyone to come home. I'll need to get dinner as I am the one who does this for some reason. Lol.

I am adjusting meds again this week, and likely next week, too.

Love to All!

Gus, thank you for the beautiful pictures. Thank you for feeding the critters and for telling us about them. I loved that story!

Everyone, I'm sorry you're having such a hard time. How I wish I could take away all your troubles and pain.

I have come to the conclusion the new anti-dep. is a flop. The new p-doc and I are trying to figure out a different one for me to take. Has anyone tried Cymbalta? I sleep at night and sleep for hours every day.

I took Belle for her yearly check-up. She's gained two whole pounds since I found her. She looks chubby, but the vet assures me she's not over weight and that she's very healthy, except for her teeth. I must call back on Monday and ask what he wants to do about them. I held Belle down and had a good look today and I'm just sick over it. I gave her a half tab of her pain medicine and even though I gave her a huge treat for doing it to her, she's mad at me again!

I think of all of you every day and please rest assured you're not forgotten. I've been operating in an exhauted fog since I started this new med, so I haven't been up to writing.

I love you all.

Hi guys I am still here not doing to great but .....
Gus that's so awesome what you doing feeling the animals
Christina I know how frustrating doctors offices can be hang in there
Liz you are still my I idol the amount of work you get done truely amazes me.
Jan you keep being your sweet self. I am glad Belle gained a couple of pounds
Kiya I would have hurt the guy that took the bunnies away. That wasn't right.

Things are tough around here. Just doing everyday chores makes me get out of breath. My mom was dx with stage 4 lung cancer and it's already in her liver. They are going to check her brain but they have nothing available until the end of the month. My uncle is on hospice and maybe has a week left if that. My other friend has breast cancer and because she has lupus she can not have normal radiation.

For me it's just been one thing after another and I am tired very very tired.

I miss all of you but lately I haven't been able to be positive and so I stay away i am sorry.

I love every single one of you I admire ALL of you if I forgot someone I am sorry but I am falling alseep so I am going to head to bed it's only 5:46 pm but my eyes just won't stay open.

Sending love, hugs and positive vibes to all of you

Cake

Gus .... your pictures make my heart happy !!!

Jan.... Belle is so lucky to have you. My dog Sirius does not have pearly white teeth. I put dental care rinse in his water that kills his nasty breath and it also has been helping his teeth. I can’t imagine trying to brush his teeth. He would probably freak out and I don’t want to scare him like that. He always has healthy chew toys around to help with his teeth.

Cake .. my heart breaks for you. So much you go through with your own health problems but losing love ones on top of it all please take care of yourself, make that a must do daily.

Liz... I hope your week wasn’t brutal and you and relax a bit this weekend.

Kiya.... I hope your doing okay

WC .... I hope your feeling better and life has offered you a damn break !

I’m just researching Embrel and see the Rheumatologist on the 20 th my last labs showed a decrease in inflammation, so I don’t know what that means. The Otezla I take has taken all my scalp psoriasis away.. if I try Embrel I have to go off Otezla, what if the scalp comes back ? I don’t want to scratch life a dog with mange.

I’m in hell’s pain, I cleaned today and then sat down and crocheted a scarf, hurt doing it but has been a good distraction.

Gentle hugs to everyone

I am dealing with a very stubborn depression. My pdoc was explaining how difficult it is to treat depression when there is PTSD/C-PTSD superimposed upon it. We've decided, being treatment-resistant, we'd increase the stimulant (Adderall). Amphetamines were used for TR depressions before tricyclic meds were available. We will see how it goes.

I am in a similar position with Enbrel. It's been prescribed. I am deciding if I want to take a biologic and when. I'd really like to get this depression under some kind of control first, if possible. I am tired of adding meds. I am also tired of the expenses associated with meds and with care.

Had a good day. My niece visited for lunch and stayed 4 hours. We'd had a video chat with my nephew serving in Afghanistan. Technology is both amazing and frustrating. Lol.

Jan --I love to read the stories about Belle. I'd also slept 24/7 on Cymbalta.

Cake -- Are you going to ever be afforded a break? Goodness!

Kiya -- Thanks for the hugs.

Gus -- Thanks for the gorgeous pics!

~Christina -- My heart goes out to you.

Liz -- How is the blogging going? I've lost the link.

I hope I did not miss anyone. I am falling asleep. Lol.

Love to All!

WC

Cake, be as negative as you need hon. This is the one safe place we all have to let that out.

WC, here is the link to the latest in the blog. I've been adding a bit but so tired after work that I frequently don't turn on the computer when I get home at night. Resistant depression and PTSD/C-PTSD. I'm on a cocktail of three anti-depressants. It took us some time and trial and error to find the combination that worked for me. Best of luck to you hon.

Gus, I love the pic of the Sequoias. Can't remember who said it, but agree with the person who said they would've gone off on the guy who took the bunnies!

Jan, Belle is lucky to have even if she is mad about the meds!

Someone mentioned last week at work. Worked 10 hours a couple of days trying to get everything done. I was so tired by the end of the week that exhausted was in my rearview mirror. Someone was b i t ching about how long it was taking to get one of my cases to court. I came dam close to going redneck crazy on her.

I stumbled across this site today.

https://www.healthcentral.com/slides...n-home#slide=1

Most of us are probably already aware of what they talk about, but this was new to me.

Quote:
Research studies have shown that fibromyalgia patients spend little or no time in deep, stage-four sleep. Their deep sleep is repeatedly interrupted by bursts of awake-like brain activity. Since this is the stage of sleep during which the body replenishes itself, fibromyalgia patients are not able to get restful, restorative sleep.

i wonder if a CPAP would help, it's for people who wake up constantly in their sleep from forgetting to breathe. (Continuous positive airway pressure ). it's a machine that pushes air into your lungs, so you don't have to remember to.

Well my uncle passed away last night. I am having trouble breathing but only when I lay down. It's 10:52 pm right now and I don't think I will be getting any sleep tonight just to much on my mind.

Take care everyone
