Wow!

That was an interesting, and I'm sure quite frightening at the time, reaction your mom had to that Advil, @~Christina!

I wouldn't take it anymore either!

And I'm with you on the Sulfa meds ...

That's the one I had the severe allergic reaction to and now have to carry a medical alert card because of it!

I can't ever take another drug that's a member of that family as it could prove to be fatal.

I guess since our bodies are a wash of chemicals themselves that sometimes the things we take don't interact very well with that.

I hear you about the being able to walk and use your hands too, @~Christina and I'm glad the Humira is helping you with that!

Appreciate you and @lizardlady helping by sharing y'all's experiences with me!

Hugs from:

Thanks for this!

Well it’s possible that the reason for my constant Asthma flare is Humira based on being on it for 6-7 shots it makes the most sense according to my Pulmonary Doctor.

It’s very rare .01% -1.0 % will have all my breathing symptoms... he sent me for a stat Cat Scan. I missed there call this afternoon, my phone was on silent I’ll call them tomorrow, I see my rheumatologist on the 14th and then a full Pulmonary functions test on the 19th and my liver ultra sound on the 15th and 4 week followup with Pulmonary.

I just have to be the one that gets the super rare pita sideeffect. . Bleh !

Gentle hugs !

Mr. Front is on his way to visit this weekend. I'm ready for cooler weather, NOT cold, just cooler. Could do without the associated pain though.

The front started blowing through me yesterday it’s currently 25 degrees out , I’m not impressed, I don’t agree with this, I’m sick of winter already.

My Cat Scan came back clear so that’s great news.

Maybe, just maybe I am learning to take care of myself. Gameplan had been to go to Mom's this afternoon to work on the house, then get up early tomorrow for more work. Am exhausted and sore. So I'm staying home today to rest. I'll go up tomorrow and do what I can.
Staying home also means I can have a little fire in the fireplace tonight to celebrate the first cool weather this year.😁🔥

Oh the 70’s .... perfect weather for me

I think we legit got 17 days of Fall

Monday high 63 / Tuesday high 30 lows 14 - 15

I’d get a sign and picket but hell no way I’m not going out when it’s this cold Hahaha

I’m glad your listening to your body. Enjoy that fire

Glad the CAT Scan was clear @~Christina!

I did a little leaf peeping yesterday so am being a lazy bones today ...

Fibromyalgia Check-In Thread #5 ...

That is Lake Burton in the North Georgia Mountains.

I learned to do a little pfishing there when I was but a wee tadpole.

I know cold weather is not our friend but warm cozy fires (and sitting under a warm shower) certainly are!

Thanks ! Hope you manage the change ok.

Our high was 27 today , dropping to 14 tonight. This is January weather not November. At this rate I can’t imagine what January and February will be like.

Hi, Y'all ...

From 55 Degrees yesterday morning to 25 Degrees this morning!

Saw this in another forum and found it aptly applicable ...

Possible trigger:

Hope I don't get into trouble over that!

Didn't sleep worth a poop last night and woke up feeling all stiff & brittle this morning ...

Fibromyalgia Check-In Thread #5 ...

I call out when I have a sleepless night because it isn't safe to drive on little to no sleep.

Always feel as if I've wasted a day of leave, but I strongly believe in Safety First when it comes to driving a 40 ft. behemoth!

Precious cargo on board that bus ... Including Me!

Oh Liz

My GP told me about Mucinex 600mg twice a day is showing a decent amount of Fibro pain relief over time, of course these fronts will always cause a flare.

She told me to give it a full 6 months , I’m on about 2.5 months I haven’t noticed anything yet but I’m going to stick it out, at least it’s keeping my sinuses clear

Lol I spent way to long just laying in bed today. I just couldn’t find the ambition to get up, eventually I got hungry enough lol

I suspect I’ll be back to bed before too long to read.

Hope your doing well

It was 64 freakin' degrees in my house when I woke up. This ole lizard hates being cold. Turned the heat on and am on the couch cuddling kitties. I planned to work in the yard today - ain't happening!!!

And a dirty four letter word at that, @~Christina ...

We're having the ADA Reasonable Accommodation Request meeting tomorrow.

It will be nice to finally have everything finalized and in place!

I'm also looking at some mobility scooters for when I do my little road trips.

I miss not being able to stroll around some of my favorite mountain towns and windowshop.

With a mobility scooter I could roll around those same towns and windowshop!

I'll also be able to visit and enjoy the beauty of my local and much beloved botanical garden once again!

Fibromyalgia Check-In Thread #5 ...

I have missed it so!

One of the little walking petri dishes (kids) at work shared the current respiratory bug with me. I feel like crap on a cracker.
