I have a severe ear infection.. they tried T3 first and it didnt even touch it. Ive been in ER twice today for shots of toradol and my doc stepped it up to morpheine today.. i hate the thought of taking something that strong but I was literally brought to my knees screaming and crying at the pain.

I seriously think it was easier to have a baby than this hurts. Its TERRIBLE.

Ugh. This isint chronic really but

I hope they have you on some heavy duty antibiotics too, Rainbowzz. Hope those pain meds work. What is T3?

Ear infections can be so painful and yours sounds like a monster. Sometimes putting a hot water bottle on the ear can ease the pain a little.

Thanks hun. Me too..

And yes, the doc I am seeing is really good. He always gives "the talk" before prescribing narcotics, but hes not the type to withold drugs when they are REALLY needed for the right reasons.

Thanks hun.

Today they changed me to a more "heavy duty" antibiotic, and while im still about the same, i think i might actually feel, a TEENSY bit better. Doc said my ear looks a tiny bit better too. So progress but still struggling.

T3 - Tylenol 3 , or tylenol with codeine. It wasn't even touching my pain so the doc stepped me up to morpheine because I was literally ( and i mean literally i almost collapsed at his office) brought to my knees from the pain.

So im combining the morpheine with ibuprofen for the swelling, and as long as i stay on top of it, im good. its when i fall asleep for a long time i wake up in horrible pain and have to quickly take my meds and try to sleep until they kick in.

Im doing the hot water cloth thing at the moment - i tried the bottle and a magic bag, but found the pressure on my ear too sensitive so i just keep soaking a hot cloth to lay on my ear.

Thanks again This isint chronic really but
