I've seem a post recently that included a list with those little round bullets denoting each item. That looks so cool, and organized.

So I tried it today - first clicked "List Item" which listed directions to begin and end each item with "List start" and end with "List end." No matter which way I tried it - no go.

Soooooo, any of you technophiles out there can you please help me out here?

Thank you so much for your help! Putting bullets in post?

You have to click "list start" then "list item" (for each thing you want a bullet in front of) typing the text in the box, then "list end" to end the list and display the list properly.

Hope that helps?

I find using the automatic stuff confusing, so I just type the info myself. <ul type="square"> I don't use the word start[*] just use the word list inside brackets[*]then for each item bracket the asterisk [ * ] without spaaces[*] at the end close it like you do color with the slant bar [ / list ] again without spaces[/list]

For those on a mac, option 8 makes an automatic bullet
• Bullet here.

Is there an equivalent for the other kinds of computers? Option on a Mac is the alt tab on a "pc" so maybe there is something that can be used if you don't want to go through the whole brackets, etc.

hmm well, hitting alt tab for me takes me out of this page and into whatever page I have minimized... thanks! I didn't know how quickly and easily that could be done!

Yikes, that sounds rather scary. Glad their target is somewhere in the clouds!

Thank you so much {{{{{BP _SKY Wanttoheal}}}}}}

When I put the title on this post my mind was focused on what was I doing wrong with that particular formatting. Didn't mean to alarm ya, _Sky. But now that I reread that with that perspective, I did get a chuckle (and will have to be more careful how I title posts Putting bullets in post? )

Ok, think I understand now - I'll experiment with the "auto" way ~and~ the manual way.

Thanks so much again!
