I have opera downloaded now and am trying it out.

I have changed as much as what I can to resemble IE but I cannot get the font size to change. It is fine on the main page but on a thread it is quite tiny. What I am typing now I can barely see.

I have tried Zoom in and out Hold Ctrl key, roll mouse wheel Restore default zoom Hold Ctrl key, click mouse wheel that Rainbowzz posted on my other thread but this not only changes the text size, it distorts everything else as well.

I have gone through all the options on the view button.

From Tools - Preferences - Opera gave me an option to adjust font size for normal and monoface, which I have done - but it hasn't made any difference.

Any ideas?

Go to IE and click on "VIEW" (then) "TEXT SIZE" and (then) pick "MEDIUM"

IE views fine - I already have it on medium.

Opera, however doesn't give me the option to change text size as it changes everything else with it. Opera stuff

Go to tool, preferences, web pages and it probably says 100% beside zoom...click the drop down arrow and choose 120% and see if that helps. it made it much larger here, i changed it back though.

gl!

Thanks KimmyDawn. I tried that and yes, the text is enlarged but so is everything else which totally skews it so I went back to 100%. Everything looks exactly as it did on IE except for the text size on threads and replies.

I am already straining my eyes as I still have a 'baby' monitor.

Thanks again!!

I went to preferences, advanced, fonts and changed the pixel size. It is a bit better. Now it is only my reply section that is still tiny.

just to make sure, its Tools, preferences, fonts and then you have your options. but im pretty sure thats what you were explaining. You may also want to try changing the TYPE of font to see if that helps.

Have you found any improvement with this browser?
