I'm currently in development work for version 2.5, which will add the following features:

<ul>[*]Support for editing and deleting individual entries (without going into the HTML)[*]Some minor bug fixes and enhancements
OJ will remain basically the same, however, because of the underlying design philosophy that went into it:

<ul>[*]No external or flatfile database is used or expected, meaning it is relatively simple to install and maintain[*]The HTML file generated by OJ contains all the information needed to maintain itself; in other words, I didn't want to rely on a whole bunch of other data files to maintain data or state[*]Flexible in its display since it uses templates to allow you to put the information where you want it[*]Multi-user allows multiple users to maintain the same journal (not multiple journals, sorry)[*]Automatic archiving as long as you log in once a day
If you have any additional specific feature requests, I'd be happy to try and accomodate them, with the following provisions:

<ul>[*]I will not write a multi-user/multi-journal program. It's just too complicated and OJ was never intended for that kind of use[*]The program is and always has been dependent upon your system's "date" command. I am looking into improving this situation in order to better maintain cross-platform compatibility.
