Why is it when I look at a pic on my computer it looks fine but when I put it on PC it looks all fuzzy or like a whole bunch of little boxes?
It happens with all graphics but particularly with pictures I've scanned.
What am I doing wrong? Is there a way to fix the problem?
Can you tell I'm not computer literate Can you explain why

Is it a box with a red x in it that shows up instead of the picture?

on my computer I have the pict both in gif and jpeg format.
It's not the infamous white box with the red x. I'm trying to think of some's avatar that has the little boxes. One the other hand maybe I just might need glasses.

hey Keb...what you are seeing are pixals...your photos are pixalated...lol...that basically means that a photo was say...320x320 and you enlarged it to a bigger size...which brings out the pixels...hmmm...all photos are made up of pixels(little squares)...when you enlarge a photo there should be a place to retain the pictures quality...whatever program you use check in the help file for a how to enlarge a pic...I know I am being rather vague but I hope this helps a little...

Want to thank you all for the help.
Got a little involved in my son's wedding and didn't read your post until now.
Thanks again. I'll keep "playing" with it.
