Have sent an email requesting closure of my account - heard nothing back! How can I cancel?

Click on "My Profile". At the bottom, right before the advertisement, you'll see "Terminate My Membership." Click on that.

SSR please don't go. If someone has upset you here, hash it out with a moderator of KimmyDawn. Remember, most members have some type of mental unwellness they are dealing with also, and many also have physical illnesses with which to contend. It makes for some touchy situations at times.

Regarding canceling, Clyde, I did click, "my profile" then "terminate account" - have received an email back saying it has been read...what normally occurs now! kindness, SSR |

You can stay and just read for a while sacred.
 You can just use PMs or chat for support. You can have your screenname changed if someone found out who you are and you are uncomfortable with that.  I just can't find any good reason to leave PC.((((hugs)))

Yeah, I agree with Sky, I dont want you to leave either, but let me ask KD or Jan or DocJohn what happens, cause I thought once you did it, you were gone...hmmm...

SSR, you can retract your request with another PM.
I did that, asked if I could please take it back after changing my mind and DocJohn replied and said kindly "Of course, that's why we don't act on the request right away"

Put in a PM request to KD, Jan or Doc John (probably KD or Jan especially...) and tell them the name you want to switch too as well. They will either then approve it or disapprove it...

we have been too scared to ask about this, we have been afraid one of the alters might click on the "terminate membership" button & cancel our membership we are very happy to discover that we might get another chance, if one of us clicks that button

There have been some changes in the system and I think this feature is being worked on as far as fitting it back in?
