Hey, I'm trying to get involved and join the chats but men are a real trigger for me. Ever consider a room for ladies/women only? I know there's a ladies/womens forum just curious about a chat. Regards, Angel

Hi Angel,

you can always PM one of the women in the chat & ask them to make a private chat room

or you could make a private room yourself & label it Women Only

you must have had fairly bad luck in chat, as there are not many male members here

if you don't know how to make private chat rooms, or how to PM in chat, let us know & we will explain

Thanks, I can try this the only problem is I have to enter a room to PM someone. I can try making a room, hopefully someone will notice it.

As far as the men in the chat rooms, it's just me not them. I'm ultra sensitive and can "feel" them a mile away. Part of my PTSD-sorry.

Hi Angel,

You could check on a chatroom, which you would know wouldnt have any members, and click on that room (to go into that room, I mean) and it will take you in to that empty room.

Then you could go to a private room.

If you dont wanna answer me back on here or PM's thats fine, but you can talk to the ladies and they can help clarify what I said about chat...sometimes my words arent the best, but my meanings are

Please hear me, it's not you "men" it's me. I can't help it, it's part of my PTSD. Men just set me off-send my anxiety level through the roof. Please don't take offense to this. I'm sure you're ok or you wouldn't be a moderator. Hope I said this OK!

We had another thought about this too.

when you enter a chat room, there is a list of members in the chat to the right of the window, if you right click on a members name one of the choices you get is "ignore this user", you could put any men in the room on ignore so they can't talk to you, while you set up a new chat room

Thank you, all good thoughts! I've also learned how to check a roster of all the chat rooms, all at once, without going in. I can check profiles with a right click to check gender (if filled out). As I learn about everyone, soon I won't need to keep checking profiles. Sorry to be so weird about men.
