Well, I'm beginning to rethink (doubt) this whole car thing!

I know in my heart that there is simply no way I can afford RENT (#1 Priority), an AUTO PAYMENT and AUTO INSURANCE!

Complex PTSD ...

I'm not totally discouraged though ...

One plan I've always considered is taking the retirement from the University in a partial lump sum and paying cash for a reliable vehicle at that time!

That'll be sometime in the next 5 - 10 years, and that'll pfly by in no time!

Thanks for this!

There's my long lost wise friend Wait! Are you old enough to take the retirement out without a penalty? Better to leave the retirement alone.
The car can wait. Good grief. Find a balance with possessions. Don't over extend yourself. But you're smart I'm sure you have all that figured out. The Hamsters can wait a little longer Glad you stopped by. All ways good to hear from you.

Thanks, Trace14 ...

I won't take any of my retirement out until I actually retire!

They offer two options when that happens, and that's when I'll take a partial lump sum to procure a vehicle.

Always good to hear from you too!
