This is a CPTSD forum I used to go to regularly. It has lots of CPTSD information and a lot of child forums for those who's CPTSD started in childhood. Out of the Fog is the parent forum so you may have to go through there to get to Out of the Storm.
Just another good resource for people.

I'm a member over there too. Haven't been in a while though.

I wasn't there that long. Joined last summer then drifted away for awhile, went back to it after my daughter's second hospitalization, then while doing research on Bipolar found this forum and have stuck to this one.

They are very good over there. I prefer this one because it covers more than just CPTSD and I just don't have time to do more than one. Yes I am here about my CPTSD, but I am also here about my daughters Bipolar and her med cocktail. On her latest release from the hospital, her regular pdoc asked me if they had explained, "This concoction they have put her on." To which I had to answer, "no". It was a combo where all three meds interacted with at least one of the other ones. Of course he's not convinced that she's bipolar either, although he's kept her on a mood stabalizer.

They banned me when I opened a thread about homicidal ideation as a form of fight response during emotional flashbacks. +I didn´t give details, just said it was homicidal ideation when triggered like that+

Did you read the forum rules? They are pretty strict about talking about suicide and homicide.

I did. They allow suicidal ideation in the subforum -there is a subforum for SI and SH- while it isnt acting, planning or giving details, so I assumed the same about homicidal ideation. I didnt gave any detail about them, just said 'homicidal ideation', my point was how a fighting response emotional flashback makes me have homicidal ideation.

From their subforum ''Please note that this is a trial forum for the discussion of suicide ideation and/or thoughts of self-harm in which a distinction is made between thinking about either in a general sense, and any real planning or intent to kill or harm oneself. If you are have any real desire/intent to do either, please do not post about it here. ''

That's pretty common with most forums. I think it is because they don't want to excite or make others feel like it is an acceptable option, because it's not. We all are struggling but taking the life of our self or someone else is NOT an option and I think deep down you know that.

I wanted tips, advice,, experiences about violence related to fight response, not a how to kill thread.

Yes, but bringing up a topic like that you never know what you are going to spark someone else to say. It's really a gray area I think they just want to play it safe

Yay, I get that, but they could explain it, why they allow suicidal ideation without plan or inminent risk but do not allow homicidal one instead of directly ban. Since there is a subforum for suicidal ideation -with a lot of restrinctions- it was not abnormal to think it was possible to talk about homicidal one without planning or intending to harm anyone. If they have told me they allow suicidal ideation to some degree but no homicidal ideation at all I wouldn't have talked about it again, they directly banned me instead of telling me first. The rules are confusing, as I said, because there is a suicidal ideation subforum. I read the subforums rules, I just didn't know I was breaking them.

They initially banned me for 3 days. I tried to log in after these 3 days but now it seems they permanently banned me.

I don't get why they first ban me for 3 days and then they extend the ban forever without me doing anything -I didn't make any post or thread after being banned for 3 days-

That's something you will have to discuss with them. Forums have their own rules. Some forums don't even allow talking about Suicide on any level. I think they are trying to create a safe space for the masses which unfortunately shits the doors for some conversations.
Is there anyone that supervises the mental health care in your country? Someone you could write a letter to explaining the treatment you have gotten there and file a complaint?

I have no idea but my only complain would be lack of support or adecuate treatment for my condition.

I think that's enough to complain about, don't you? That's a valid complaint and if they are doing it to you they are probably doing it to other people as well. Someone has to bring this to their attention. You would be speaking from experience and for the ones who can't speak for themselves. You could at least look into it.

That would be good, but I just don't know to whom complain. My psychiatrist and therapist is the director of a rehab center and the day hospital and he said there is no money for more specific resources...
