Where's everyone? It's very quiet in here, I think I just heard a pin drop.

I have a lot going in my life too. Sometimes I just don't have it in me to post. I do like to be able to sit and read. It's just that some days I don't have the energy to engage.

That's okay, I think that's the norm right now with people but it's good to see that people are doing okay and still around.

Why? It's always good to have people respond to any thread, to get a wide range of perspectives. But post only if you feel comfortable with it, okay?

i'm not here, this is week 4 of my spin-out over the new Pdoc. i've resolved to re-write my Tx Plan (which he must have never read) to forbid him from agitating me further. i think he's a sociopath.

Sure is quiet in here

Wow you sound very dissatisfied with the Pdoc. Can you get another one that may be a better fit for you?

no, Trace, i go to a rural clinic, and take what's served. for about a yr +1/2 now we have been meeting 2x a yr by video, they used to come on over, but that 2 hrs is billable, by webinar. now he not only kept me late to keep at me, but he cut back on my anti-anxiety meds to "Force" me to come in every 3 months,,, he's an idiot if he thinks i don't know how to manage a Pdoc.

"Under the Provisions of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1972, i am requesting the following behaviors by my psychiatric physicians be included in my Treatment Plan:

I will not be asked to describe or recount recent traumatizing events, only to assign my stress levels a rating;
I will not be offered nor asked to take any psychotropic medication other than the one i am on now;
If the physician wishes to assess me for suicidal intentions, it must be done outright, and with my expressed opinion being predominant;
My diagnosis will not be changed without informing me of it, and the reasons for it, and if i disagree, my reasons shall be documented in my file;
I will not be required to vist the Mental Health Clinic for medication reviews or refills more often than is required by law (every 6 months).

Any other provisions in my Treatment Plan must be reviewed and, if warranted, amended or opposed by me in writing."

let's see how he likes it.

Sure is quiet in here

I've never thought about getting involved with my treatment plan. Does everyone have a treatment plan?

Trace, i don't know about private Pdocs, but i know the public clinic ones are required to have a Treatment Plan on file, and by law the client is required to participate in it's development. HOWEVER, that being said, we are not required to APPROVE it, or to be informed that we are participating. how rude is that ?

I'm not sure how I feel about knowing the treatment plan. I don't know if that jade my perceptions of what I'm dealing with or make me want to comply more or resist more. I guess I just want to trust that they have a plan and we will go with that and if I feel it's not working to discuss it with the provider. It may be that that provider is just not a good fit for me. Something to think about though.

If you get the right therapist, the first thing they will do is work on your ability to cope now and they won't try to dig into the trauma until you are ready for it. I have some of the same fears, but my therapist has been very good about helping me with my crisis situations and Mindfuness techniques. Working on replacing the bad thoughts with good thoughts.

Please continue to take part here. We are a very understanding bunch.
