I've been told I over think things... It only happens if whatever it was upset me even a little bit. If something happens I'll obsess over it trying to figure it out until I'm not even sure what happened anymore because I've picked apart all the different things it could mean. Like if someone doesn't text me back, I'll wonder why and think they're mad at me or something.
I also block things out without realizing it. If I'm in a place where something bad happened, I won't remember going there, for example. Its only bad things... I think my subconscious is trying to protect itself but all its doing is jumbling my reality until I don't know what's real anymore. I need to try to make it stop, but I don't know how because I don't realize I'm doing it most of the time...

Probably, I can relate with your mental condition very much. As I go through this more often. Am too wondering for suggestions to be able to gain mental strength. Hoping for some tips from some other experienced members.
Anyways, though I couldn't show you any path to overcome this, yet all my wishes are there for you to achieve mentally whatever you are looking for. The only thing I just can say is that, everything is within me, and can be under my control if I want. Just we need is, that consciousness and realization. Sooner or later it will be also in practice unconsciously. Take care....
