Since I can remember I have had trouble identifying what emotion I am feeling and how to talk about it or express myself. For example, if I see something disturbing media I look towards someone else to see what they are feeling, and I don't even mean to..just do. I feel really intense emotions but can't seem to express them and don't know how to deal with them. I would really like if some can help me somehow on my emotions...my therapy isn't focusing on this matter at the moment.

hmm... trouble expressing emotion is often associated with disorders such as autism and aspergers. but that doesn't like what you are experiencing to me. it almost sounds like ADHD. Is it that you literally cant bring urself to feel the emotions? or that you know what you should be feeling and its just that you overlooked it? ADHD has issues with impulsivity, which results in the inability to express emotions at the approptriate times, either because of lack of focus on the matter at hand, or because of impulsivity, often are susceptible to what seem to be rather wild mood swings. but there are man disorders that can effect social skills and the regulation of emotions. i would ask ur t. maybe he/she has noticed something and has some insight

You might could beneift from DBT. I'd encourage you to talk to your T about this. Problems labeling emotions and expressing them can be a symptom of many different disorders including autism, bipolar, disocciative disorders, etc.
