Right now as I'm sitting here I am anxious for no reason. I can't focus. I tell myself things will get better but I can't see that happening. I don't see any hope for the future. It feels like everything will fall apart at any moment. I need to move forward and make changes but there seems to be nowhere to go. Why can't I move on?

i would see a t about this. those are questions worthy of being explored. unfortunatley, without knowing you better and having more information, i can't tell you much. except that i felt the same way before I got help.

I am in the same place: anxious for no good reason. I am not able to just let go of things easily. How can I deal with this?

There are no doors.
There are no windows.
There are no smokeholes for my spirit to pass through.

There is no sun, no future and no reason.

My sweetheart is here and lets me know that things are still OK but I can't feel it. She doesn't understand why I feel this way and neither do I. I think she's afraid to leave me alone sometimes.

Letting go is hard. I feel I have to hold on to my job and that includes the office politics and crazy make-work that eats up so much of me.

I was in a bad place and I didn't think this through. I was afraid to "go out into the sun" because I saw the world as being closed off, rejecting me. But personal experience shows the world as being an indifferent place, a point of mere existence without judgement or motive. So why not "go out into the sun?" I insisted on absolute certainty that I would not be destroyed, that is what held me back. But there can be no absolute certainty, things happen, that is all. So, again, why not "go out?" Absolute certainty is not a possibility, rationally speaking it must be let go of. I can act with foresight and reduce my vulnerability within specific bounds, but that's all, that's the best I can do, and that's all I need to do.

Thanks, I feel better today.

And I'm back. Overwhelmed and broken by undefinable problems.

Ok.
I don't jump so well these days but looking at the mountains does help.
Thank you

Angryworld all I can suggest you is to calm your mind and concentrate on the happiness you’ve witnessed in past.
Thanks for this!

I can do that.
There has been so much happiness.
I'm in a better mindset now but I worry about my past behavior. I must talk with my doctor soon.
