I am struggling with my thoughts, If I am honest I am a little scared of posting about this.

I have been feeling low in myself for 3 days and I don't want to fall back into crisis again, I have been looking through my CBT sheets to see if this will help but I am still struggling.

I saw my Pdoc today and he wants to increase my meds from tomorrow to see if this will help but I am not sure if they will.

Right now I hate myself and this life.

(((Tinkerbell))),

I am sorry you feel down like this. I have had these times myself, give yourself some time and be patient, you have been through a lot this past year. Try to consider what you do have that is good in your life, and make sure you don't keep focusing on the bad things. It is often easy to put too much focus on the bad and let it drag you down. I can get going in that direction myself too. I try to stop myself and make sure I think about the good things I can focus on and work on pulling myself up and back into working on going forward again.

I agree with Open Eyes. You have been dealing with a lot of stress for a while now, and it's hard to make it through times like these. We feel as though we don't have anything good in our lives to keep living for. I can relate to those thoughts and emotions.

In my deep lows, I try to escape the darkness by using mindfulness. I think that my absolute favorite technique is imagery. Another favorite is using my 5 senses, focusing on a stone, flower, leaf, listening to a classical music piece (and trying to identify musical instruments, mood changes in the music, images that are brought up within my mind as the music plays, and so forth), etc.

The more often this technique is used to get you through the tough times, the easier becomes to practice everyday and bring a sense of calmness to your world. It may seem hard to believe, but it's true!

Very gentle hugs to you, Tinkerbell.
