sometimes I would masturbate for no reason whatsoever, right, and then the next day i get angry with people and they start getting on my nerves and i begin to get a little upset with them. i hate that. some people do it and yet they don't have issues. it's so unfair how i feel like i'm getting punished right away for doing something that is culturally unaccepted. something deviant, they would say.

Masturbation itself cannot make you angry, but your mind can make you angry in connection with masturbation.

So work with your mind and leave masturbation alone.

What do you mean by masturbating for no reason? What are the opposite examples?

Since most people masturbate, calling masturbation deviant is weird. Usually, deviant is assumed to mean some rare behavior.

oh, okay. like if i masturbate today right and then next day i get upset over it. i feel guilty as though i am being watched. like someone is zooming in on me when i do this type of stuff. plus i watch porn when i masturbate. i hate it. i want to stop but it's so boring at home and the tv is pretty old fashioned for me. i cannot stand watching tv.

I have not had a TV in the last twenty years. I cannot stand it, too.

I do not understand how you find porn interesting, because to me it is boring, but if you do have an interest in it, I do not see why you would not allow yourself to follow your interest.

This has nothing to do with masturbation.

oh okay. maybe i'm just scrutinizing too much into people's faces. i always do. they pick on me and then i ask myself what did i just do? oh yeah i did that shady thing yesterday... i guess this is my reward? but i hope it's not. it really is unfair if you come to think of it. everybody else does it without any repercussions. i guess it's based on a matter of survival of the fittest or something. some have to be affected profoundly while others are not a bit affected.

how is it boring?
afterward i find it boring because basically it's all the same and i wish there's a way to desexualize me. like after i masturbate, i just feel like i wasted several minutes doing something secretive.

i do want to get rid of it. i feel like it's going to replace my social life. i don't want that. i have been retreating from the crowd for so many years. ever since i moved to this new city and away from my friends, i have barely enough time to hang out with my friends. they all take ap classes and they don't have time to spend with me. if only i could go back in time i would definitely not be watching this.

I would see a T about it, because what worries me is that you go beyond feeling guilty. You think that perhaps people know what you did yesterday. I am worried that you might have symptoms of psychosis. Please see a specialist.

Please see somebody for a thorough evaluation. You are trying to make connections between things that are not connected. Most people are able to enjoy social life and masturbate. There is no logical connection. I would want a specialist to look at how you reason and how your internal logic works.

Has the T asked you questions about other situations in which you think that people know what you did even though you did not tell them?

Dark circles suggest video game overuse, these days.

I cannot explain how it is boring. How is TV boring?

Is your problem with doing something SECRETIVE or NON PRODUCTIIIVE?

tv isn't boring. it's just that my computer is in my room and it's much closer so instead of going out into the living room to watch tv, i stay in my room and watch porn instead. i guess you can say it's a little bit of both.

Please, for yourself, compare masturbation with urinating, defecating, sleeping, having partner sex, and mopping the floors. What do they have in common?

Also, compare masturbation with reading a book for pleasure (not assigned at school), drawing, and painting, as a hobby and not for pay. What do these have in common?

doesn't porn alter your brain chemistry if you expose yourself to it a lot?

I cannot tell you from personal experience because I do not use it. I can tell you tht porn is a huge industry so there are many many many consumers. Still, the world has not come to end, factories and banks work still, people still walk their dogs and hopefully clean up after that, so it is likely that tthe majority of porn users do not suffer cognitive side. Effects from porn. Plus, since you are a full time student, you are too busy to be able to consume too much anyway. There are 24 hours in a day. Sleep, eating, school, etc.you cannot watch that much porn.

But you understand that for your eyes, there is no difference between porn and video ganes, right? The screen strains the eyes either way.
