After about 7 weeks of over the phone cbt, the well-being practitioner has decided I need high intensity cbt on a face to face basis, I'm relieved as half of the calls are used up redoing the questionnaires, and i'm finding it really hard at work at the moment with so many changes.... had a 'crying' day yesterday, fortunately I had someone to come home to that distracted me from my own head

Me, either--or long-term therapy by phone.

I suggest you tell your therapist that you were so upset by the session that you came home and cried.
Thanks for this!

Having done an 8 week mindfulness CBT course myself, I thoroughly recommend it. It really helped learning with other people who were having the same problems and issues as I was and sharing our experiences of CBT.

Go for the face-to-face CBT, you'll never look back. Good luck!

cbt by phone is part of a uk wellbeing programme. maybe you don't have that in the states, but tbh its not very effective. And i am familiar with mindfullness, i just haven't kept it up, bad me lol, still waiting on the high intensity, but i knew i would as waiting list is high...

oh i was crying during the session, he knew, and it was him that's referring me on, i took the 'quick' option thinking it would be less hassle with work....
