I have always believed in love the life you are living! But sometimes it's so difficult. I have found that I'm happier and those around me are as well, when I work on managing "crazy". Wish it was easier, tho. I try to look at everything positive, mostly, but don't always succeed, whether it's a mostly loving relationship, petting one's animals, or a pretty flower in bloom!

I like to get copies of all medical records that I can. I have the one from when I was extremely distraught from loss and failure, or, "depressed", which has the whole psych profile with the axes and all that. Gave me a good idea how they evaluate us and what to work on, or what they consider troublesome.

Often I feel that I am killing time and time is killing me. I have that dark side.

Love both of your comments here, and can relate. My mom forgets now and then about some of her uncomfortable treatments and sadnesses assoc w old age, she is 88, but at other times, she's sharp and appreciative of what she has and even giving everybody advice as she did , in the past! A trip, and one day at a time!

Know what you mean about dark side and Pc has a recent blog or article about attempting to exercise some control over it. very interesting and we all have it to some degree. I know I struggle with it, and the very best to you. It's challenging but worthwhile I think tho sometimes overwhelming
