I've been in therapy for quite a while now, and am really not seeing the point. I don't know how cope with my anxiety and mood swings, and she doesn't really ever answer my questions. I just need to know that I CAN get better, otherwise what is the point?

If your current therapist is not helping you, then I highly recommend that you find someone else. Keeping trying and eventually you will find the right one for you!

You can get better! It is possible. Practice coping skills such as distractions. Go for a walk, listen to music, talk to a friend, go shopping, something, anything that will take your mind off the situation.

Are you on medications? Perhaps you should consider taking something for your anxiety and/or depression?

Good luck and hope all goes well!
Thanks for this!

Meds usually take a couple of weeks before you feel the full effect. Your doctor will either have to up the dosage or put you on something else. What are you taking, if you don't mind me asking?
