Currently feeling over-whelmed and not sure how to deal with this feeling. Can someone give me an idea of how to deal or cope with feelings of being over- whelmed?

Everything! My life, my future , my present. All the work I have ahead of me. Being over-whelmingly bored with my life.

I am sorry that you find yourself struggling with feeling overwhelmed. I can certainly relate to that, as I frequently struggle with the same emotion. Perhaps if you were to offer more specifics we could give one or two helpful ideas to help.

For instance, the future is a HUGE worry. What specifically concerns you in that area? Health, money, family, marriage, etc? Second, you are incredibly bored with your life. Does that mean due to a lack of finances, friends or family,...? Does that help you get a better idea of how you may become a little more descriptive?

Very best wishes to you, Diamond-Eyes.

Over whelmed by feelings of boredom and depression? Therapy may help. Also a Vacation for a change of pace could be in order. Time to get out and have some adventure.

Indeed. I could really use a change. My summer has been so boring. And I think my meds are causing excessive panic attacks. On 20mg of paxil now.

Be sure to talk to your doctor about this and the meds. Meds also can also cause you to have no feelings about things.

Meds can def contribute to both feeling nothing and feelung overwhelmed. Many many yrs ago, they gave me effexor and wellbutrin together for my depression, some anxiety. In under3days, felt like crazy person-clock watching, fidgeting, feeling world going to end, overwhelmed.***just saying-check in with ur md. Alao, now whn feel overwhelmed, is usually becuz I'm worried aboutEVERYTHING.one thing that helps me, write list of what is overwhelming you, then list what I can/cannot do to help each thing. Then try to do those things.hang in there

Relaxing in a sauna or a steam bath should help.
