Still suffering with depression but now i feel a little bit better and scared at the same time. Scared that i’ll never get any better again, scared i’ll always stay twisted like this and grow old and just simply waste away..
How do i get rid of this uneasy feeling? Sometimes it bothers me..

Never is a long time. Try to focus instead on feeling better right now. What are things that can help you do that? When you find your thoughts drifting into the negative bring your mind back to the now and what you can do.
Your recovery comes one experience or decision at a time. The road is rarely straight but you can do it. Build your support structure as you go so you can find respite when you cannot go it alone. It will get better if you can commit to yourself. |

I am having a similar struggle. I am hoping that milder weather will provide more opportunities to get outside and enjoy myself.

Sorry that you feel depressive. I don't know of it can help you but it helped me when a lost friend told me this: take the depressive moments as an alarm that is telling you that you need sort something out. Try yo look for it. Take your time to recover, you will see that you find good moments and you will enjoy them much more.
I don't know about the future. I try to live the present. If you are now depressive doesn't mean that you are going to suffe of depression forever. Look for help and you will be wiser to face to the future. I hope you feel better soon. A hug!

Thank you, i'm trying to get rid of this feeling everyday but my surroundings won't let me to recover myself. Feels like i'm trapped with people who keep doing or saying something that triggers all these negative emotions.
Common question: So why didn't i just leave? At the moment i can't.. if i could, i'd be in somewhere else since 4 years ago. I don't even know there's even a future.. or a chance..

As long as you are willing there is always a chance.
So you know your triggers and you cannot change them? So what can you change? The answer is both simple and difficult. Your reactions to these triggers. |

No, i don't. I had a thought to consult but i doubt it would worth a try. Based on my past experience, it had no effect and just made me hate humans even more.

Thank you for your advice, i knew you're trying to help me to find a way. I also knew i should change myself i tried over and over again but i'm not immune to pain. The situation is.. How should i put it? Have you ever tried to put some water on a fresh wound? Water, which can never harm me has just made me feel some pain when it touched my wound. Hurt not because of the water itself but it touched the wound. It's like that "water" keep pouring on my wounds.. Sorry it may sound stubborn but i'll try again Thanks anyway |

Noone is inmune to pain and noone is inmune to have hapiness moments either.
I think that you don't feel like doing anything now. ( tell me if I am wrong. It's better you are the one who expose the feelings you have) . I guess you are now in a moment where you don't feel nothing, nor sadness or wellbeing.

I've found that the behavioral aspects of depression can linger even after the feelings are gone. I recently had a very long episode and even after I came out of it I felt like I was still having difficulty getting up, making plans, taking initiative…I felt OK but I learned a bunch of bad habits while I was down.
Just try to get out. Ask yourself, "What would happy yunomi do?" and do that. I too can't say I'm happy I encountered depression but I like to tell myself that every episode is an opportunity to learn more about how to manage or stop the next one. |
