Yesterday I posted a picture of my daughter on her first day of school and today I noticed as always that the only time certain people like my photos is when it's of her. I didn't tag her and she doesn't even go on Facebook so I'm tempted to delete it. I don't need the attention. The person that really hurts is a member of our parish that used to run church school. I know I could ask her about it but she's old enough to be my mom and I don't see the point.

So you don't like that they liked picture of your daughter? Perhaps church school lady liked your daughters pic because she was her teacher at church school?
I am a little unclear why is it hurting to you that they liked that pic? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I think Im going to delete the picture as my daughter can post her own picture and I am not at all comfortable with going into details here. Thank you for the feedback. It gave me the information I needed. I am quite sure if I explained to my daughter what was going on she would sure share my sentiment and that's all that counts here. That same parish member thought I could coparent with my sociopathic ex and when I told her the reality of the situation she asked me if I was getting the help I needed not if my ex had gotten diagnosed or treated yet. I have no patience for blaming the victim. This subject would probably be better covered in the survivors of abuse forum as religious abuse is part of my story. Thank you for your time.

Oh I see. It was really hard to advice on here as I don't know history of the parish lady (if she possibly was abusing you). I didn't know you were abused in your church. I'd stop attending it and talk to a minister.
As about exes. It would be uncalled for parish people asking if your ex is diagnosed and treated as you have no control over ex's health and treatment, only your own. It would be strange of them to ask such questions about your ex Hopefully you can get help and support you need. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm not talking about my current parish in terms of religious abuse. I'm also not saying the woman in my current parish abused me. I'm talking about the ability of a person with ASPD traits to manipulate a whole parish of educated, professional people. I think this subject would be better addressed in another forum. Thank you for your time.

Good that you deleted it. You may want to consider deleting that church group as well.

It's not a church group on Facebook , it's a member of my parish that triggers me on Facebook. I deleted the picture of my daughter. I don't want attention for being her mother. She can post the picture if she wants on her page. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If your getting triggered by Facebook on any level ... Why have a Facebook ?
I post pics of my daughter on my Facebook all the time , loads of people click "like" . I am never bothered if people like or don't like anything I put on Facebook it's just social media, if it started becoming a problem for me I would stop going there. Maybe you should take a break ? I am an editor for a Facebook page that helps people. Facebook is not the problem. I think this would be better covered in the bpd forum. Thank you for your input.
